I bought this life vest for my 18 month old for our holiday for some extra peace of mind around swimming pools. The quality of the product is really excellent, and I will say more about this later in my review, but at the risk of being a little controversial, I’m not sure it was that essential for us. It may well be for other families.My daughter was the only child on our family holiday, so we never took our eyes off her. She also never went in the water alone. So to be honest, we rarely used it. It was an extra piece of gear in hot weather, which she didn’t need. Moreover, she goes to baby/toddler swimming lessons at home, where she doesn’t use a life vest, and so it was actually a bit of an adjustment for her. If I could do things over again, I probably would have saved my money.That being said, I can completely appreciate its value for an older child, or in other family circumstances. The aesthetic is really lovely, it’s a good fit, not too big, not too small and also isn’t super bulky. If my daughter were more independent, I think she’d be quite comfortable and happy swimming about in it.It’s a little bulky in the suitcase, but not awful. It also washes easily and well, which is an added bonus.Happy Nappy quality performs once again, and at a reasonable price.

Bought for holiday and great quality. Might get a bit hot if temperature is high outside but safe for children in the pool.

It is easy to use and lovely to look at. My only complaint is that it tended to dip towards my daughter's face when she was in the water. The weight pulled her down even when I was holding her. I had to hold her face away from the surface. It was ok, just awkward.

Doesn't ride up, big chunky zip which is easy for little hands. Little fabric tab at the top to cover zipper so no scratched chins.

This was a second purchase for my niece after we brought one for our son! Easy to put on, feels secure and less hassle with blowing up the arm bands. Very happy with our purchases.

Maybe not the most floaty thing a kid could wear but definitely good to help a kid get more independent in the water.

This came on a trip with us for my toddler to the Bahamas where we were literally spending 4 days straight in the water and it was perfect! He felt comfortable in it, was easy to use and travel with (compacted/thin to put in the back of our backpack carry on). Super adorable and fit my son the best - he is around 33/34" and just under 30lbs.

My child loved, even when got to small she wanted to wear before the others we bought that actually fit. Donated to next kid we came across and she loved it as well. Very light weight and effective.
