AquaTru Carafe AT100 Additional Glass Carafe - Double Your Water Capacity - Keep One In the Fridge

I've broken these aquatru carafes way too many times that I now bought 2 from this brand -- one to use now, and one for backup. The glass thickness and quality is exactly like the one from Aquatru themselves. Great quality and durability. Nice how this one is a little cheaper than AquaTru's.

We love our Aquatru Carafe Water Filter System and use it every day for all cooking and drinking water. I test our water regularly and the contamination rate goes from approx 278 down to 12 after filtering our water. Unfortunately I recently broke our glass carafe and discovered I good order a replacement on Amazon rather than wait many days or even several weeks on Aquatru to send me a replacement. Amazon's price is more expensive but we deemed it a fair trade off for fast delivery since we did not have to go buy bottled water nor pay Aquatru for expedited shipping (which I discovered they don't even offer -- cannot get it quickly). I now use both hands when removing the carafe from the base since my wrists are not as strong as they used to be. That's how I broke it. My wrist gave way a bit and I plunked the full carafe against the granite counter... oops, a big chunk of the bottom fell out. I now place one hand on the handle and one underneath the carafe for extra support as I remove it from the base. Hope this little insight prevents a broken carafe!

Needed more than just the one that came with the machine. Works great!

I love my Aquatru and unfortunately my pitcher fell and broke. I ordered this one hoping it would fit and it did. It fit perfect and it was the exact one that came with my Aquatru machine. I may even purchase another one for a back up!!

Great to have an extra carafe and keep one in the fridge

The original pitcher, which was full of water, cracked when lightly tapped—sending glass and water everywhere. This is a replacement for the original carafe and it fits perfectly. It might just be me, but the glass feels slightly thicker than the one I had before. I’d love to see a replacement lid sold separately—ideally made from surgical stainless steel or glass. I don’t store the pitcher in the fridge; instead, I transfer the water to 64 oz wide-mouth Ball jars with stainless steel lids and food-safe silicone gaskets.

I've had my Aquatru and this additional carafe for over a year now and have not had any issues with either carafe. This carafe is exactly the same as the one that came with my Aquatru. I'm glad I was able to buy an extra carafe so that I could always have both cold and room temp water on hand - having 2 carafes really adds to the overall functionality of the Aquatru. The carafe itself is easy to maintain and a good size for one person. The glass is thick and I have banged it around some while cleaning it (and the original pitcher that came with my Aquatru) and haven't had any issues - yet - with breakage so I'd say it's very good quality. I love that Aquatru uses glass for carafes as glass helps maintain a clean taste and is better for me and the environment than plastic.

With all the talks of plastics, and more over microplastics it's great to use something in glass. This is the company to the Aqua-Tru filtering method, with a counter-top version of "reverse osmosis". I purchased the whole system based on an Amazon review of various filtration systems that detailed that this particular model was removing PFAS contamination. The PFAS molecules are Chlorinated organic compounds like Teflon and are virtually indestructible, and typically not removed by ordinary and simple filtration like Brita or other similar methods. It is recommended to find out if your water is safe.

Works well but it is smaller in width then the original one that you receive in the package. I was looking for an exact duplicate but this is functional for what I need.
