Not bad for the price when bolting to a solid surface
The media could not be loaded. I read the reviews before buying this and have worked in the bike shop industry. Admittedly so, I did not want to pay $400 for a Park Truing stand, and this looked promising and has many good attributes. The first weakness is the lack of a substantial base, which I read in other reviews. I picked up a $5 foldable aluminum stand at a thrift store and bolted it up and that gave a solid amount of sturdiness. It is VERY adjustable, but also a budget stand, so you will need to be willing to take your time adjusting everything just right everytime you true a wheel. Takes patience to cinch things down just right. The disc rotor truing rool is cool, but same thing..takes patience to get it cinched down in the right position. Patience and knowledge on where to position everything is all you need.

Works well and good value.
Balanced several tires with this tool and it works well.

Seems to be Okay
The bolts go in from only one side, and the instructions could use a larger typeface. The box states that it cannot be used with a thru-axle. However, it comes with an adapter for just such a thing.

It works
I live in rural USA and have to work on my bikes. I had to have my wheel trued and I'll say I don't have that skill mastered. I had to have a friend help me. He did a great job getting the wheel true. He also said it needed some washers at the bottom but he was able to use it no problem.

Does not fit boost wheels
Does not fit modern mountain bike wheels. The width of the base does not accommodate boost rear wheels. If you remove some hardware from the stand you can (barely) fit a boost wheel in, but the stand is flimsy and twists under the weight of the spinning wheel as a result. With the stand set wide for a modern rear wheel, the truing arms will not reach the rim.

Made first wheel-build very easy
I recently built my first MTB wheel using the Mimoke Bicycle Wheel Truing Stand and had no problems. The stand allowed for proper rounding, dishing, truing and tensioning of a 29er quick release wheel. (BTW, dishing the wheel in this stand simply involves reversing the wheel and tensioning until the sides equal each other). I also put a 155 mm thru-axle wheel into the stand and verified a perfect fit. The stand's handy brake disc tool made it really easy to pinpoint a slight warp in the disc. The stand is solid and sturdy. I didn't even bother to bolt the stand to a bench - just set it up on a coffee table, lol. There seems to be different versions of this stand - so if you buy one, make sure you get the latest version that has the thru-axle adapter. Given this stand will get you the same outcome as the much more expensive industry standard made by Park, for a home-use wheel builder, I don't think you can go wrong with it.

This will **NOT** work for a through-axle wheel wider than 130mm!!
Review of: **Mimoke Bicycle Wheel Truing Stand for 16 - 27.5 Inch Wheels Calibration Stand Wheel Maintenance Rims Correction Stand**Update 4/19/2023: The seller contacted me today to let me know they have released a new version of this stand that will work with a 29" wheel with a boost hub (rear wheel width: 148mm). This new version is here: https://www.amazon.com/Mimoke-Bicycle-Wheel-Truing-Stand/dp/B0BWXVC91NI noticed that the seller also made updates to this original product listing to clarify that it only works with hubs up to 130mm width. The title of the listing notes this as well as some of the detailed product info. As I indicated in my original review, I am updating this rating from one star to four stars since the product is very good, it was just a misleading and arguably incorrect description.Original review:I purchased this truing stand to use with a variety of road, gravel, and MTB bikes, but primarily the mountain bike wheels. Unfortunately, despite what is written in the product description ("It is suitable for wheels from 16" to 29", "Compatible with all quick release and through axle wheels"), this stand WILL NOT work with a typical MTB through-axle. The instructions in the box specifically state it is for use with quick release only, and a maximum width of 130mm. I attempted to adjust the width to accommodate a standard rear boost wheel (148mm) and it is no where close to being wide enough. This should work of with a through axle (they even include an adapter) if the axle is under 130mm width, but I didn't bother even trying once I figure out it won't work with the rear wheels from any of our five mountain bikes (XC, 2x trail, enduro, downhill).Very disappointed about this misleading information. I will be returning this truing stand for a refund.I would give this product four or five stars if the product description was accurate. It is a very solid and well built stand, and will work very well with wheels that will fit. I would be glad to update my review and rating if the seller will make the appropriate changes to this listing clearly noting the size wheels that it will work with. If they contact me and let me know this is resolved, I can update this review.
