This kite is amazing! Easy to launch, fly, and maneuver. I bought 2 kites and this one was the showstopper. People on the beach were attracted to the vivid colors and long tail, and stopped to watch us fly it. It is easily launched by one person and stays up in a light breeze. I highly recommend this kite.

This kite is amazing! It loves to fly and the tail is impressive. We have had this kite for about a year and just today it had a grand adventure. We took it to the park and had it way high up- to the end of the line. My son was trying to reel it in when he lost his handle on the string. The reel went flying across soccer fields and play structures. The line finally got caught in a tree too close to power lines and we couldn't reach it. Storms were moving in and we had to go home. Later that evening my husband went back and the kite WAS STILL IN THE AIR! Six hour later, line caught in a tree, a thunderstorm - this baby was still flying high. He was able to capture the line and reel it in. The kite is home now, safe and sound. All seams intact, cross beams sound, and tail whole.Great kite. Fun and easy to fly. Very sturdy! Five stars well earned.

This is a nice kite and very pretty. It is not a smooth flier in high winds, but it seems sturdy. It is easy to assemble and easy to launch.

This is a beautiful kite that goes together intuitively and flies really, really well. We took it out on a good breezy day, and the kite was trying to get airborne before I even finished putting it together. It was a Christmas present for my 5-year old son, and he was so pleased when he was able to get it up into the air himself (by just taking a couple of steps -- he didn't even have to run). He was able to keep it up in the air with no problems, and he ended up playing with it for almost two hours straight. That's a miracle in short-attention-span-land!

We bought this for our 10 year old son for a kite flying morning at school. We received the product on time and had a day before Kite day to put it together, even take it for a spin. Our son loved it and it was easy for him to fly, he ran all over towing it behind him. We packed it back up and he took it to school the next day. He came home happy to tell us he had the best kite and his only fell once in over an hour of him flying it by himself and classmates were a little jealous. This was his first time flying a kite, so we are very pleased with the product and it's price. Very nice experience.

The general quality of this kite is OK but buyer beware. The fiberglass rods are VERY low quality. The end of the rods have super small fibers that leave multiple invisible splinters in your fingers while you are assembling the kite. They are so hard to pinpoint down and you don't know exactly where they are located on your hand. Once you do determine their location it is practically impossible to remove them because they are so thin you can barely get a grip on them to pull them out.

probably the best kite I have ever bought. It is able to catch the wind really well and fly very high. Most of my other store bought generic kits flew at about a 45 degree angle while this kite was able to fly close to a 70 degree angle. it was simple to assemble, the only drawback was that it only came with a short string and a generic handle. You would need to by a long string and a better kite reel to get its full potential.

Like the colors, but the rods in the wings dont stay together while your flying. We will probably put spindles in the sides to replace what we got. Also, a part of the nylon is frayed so we will see how long this lasts. For what I paid I was expecting a little better quality for the money and the time I spent in researching kites.

According to my grandson, the main spur broke on the first use.
