These were great size and thick. Others I've gotten were really scrawny and mostly stem. The box was a bit smaller than other brands, but it was 5.5lbs. I think the box was smaller because it was full of only spray millet with very little stems unlike the others. I will definitely be buying this brand from now on.

I have tried many large boxes of millet for my 6 birdies and these are their favorite. I received a box some time ago from a DIFFERENT COMPANY and it had moths hatching in it and had them all over my house. They would not refund me. RANZ millet and plumper and darker than all the others I have tried. Usually get at least 2 boxes a month. They love it!

This company used to sell long full spray millet. My parakeets really enjoyed them. My last two boxes have been terrible. The millet sprays are short and skinny and the bottom portion of the millet does not have fully formed seeds. In order to supply my birds with enough millet I have to give them two to three times the amount so they can each have enough millet. When I started buying from this company the sprays were large and the millet looked healthy. I did not need to put more than two millet a day for our birds. The millet in my last order looks unhealthy. The pictures on their shipping container does not look at all like what is inside the box. The millet looks sick.

I have owned birds 20+ years. I have purchased plenty of millet over the many years. When I opened the box of millet (5 pounds) it smelled so fresh that I was excited for my birds. As you can see by the photo the milled is large and plump just like the birds like it. I immediately feed some to my birds and they just eat it up. I have read several of the reviews that is why I had to speak up. Like I said I have purchased plenty of milled over the years and this is some quality millet. I will definitely be purchasing it again. I highly recommend you give it a try because the freshness and plump size is excellent.

The first box was perfect, fresh and not losing seeds. The second box was very different, very musty smelling and dry with lots of missing seeds. My doves would not touch it. Threw it away. Third box was almost as good as the first one. My birds are enjoying it.

I don’t know what the bad reviews are talking about. This millet is Mandingo-level huge 😂 By far the best I’ve ever received. Thick, fresh, and packed perfectly. Opening the box actually made my day.
