I love my cables and 4.4mm balanced is my poison, so when I saw this NewFantasia balanced extension cable available, it took me about 2 seconds to order it. Like all of my other NewFantasia products, this one did not disappoint. When you are a reviewer of IEMs and headphones like I am, and those are of the wired kind, mobility can be an issue. This cable solves that and it does it with excellent fidelity and nice finishes to boot. I can now move around my space a lot more easily while still listening to my test tracks. It makes things a lot easier when you can reach everything you need without having to stop and unplug or take off your headphones. So once again, NewFantasia hits with this extension cable. If you love your music through wired 'phones and would like a little more room to move around, this is your ticket. Highly recommended.

I used this extension to listen to music farther away from my DAC/Amp , and it got the job done.The quality of the cable is nothing to rave about but fair for the pricepoint that it sits in.Either way since its an extension, I don't touch it that much as what I interact more with is the cable from the actual headphone itself.Audio wise, everything sounds exactly the same with or without this extension so, mission accomplished.

But the female socket is one of those that does not mate perfectly with all 4.4mm jacks. On some jacks you have to pull the jack back out just slightly to make it work. The cable itself is well made and I can hear no difference between using the extension and plugging directly into the dac. It is attractive too.

If you use balanced IEMs with a desktop setup, then this extender is a must! It provides the extra length needed to comfortably connect to your at-home amplifier without worrying about tangles or snags.The build quality is excellent. The cable is braided with slightly more thickness than traditional IEM cables. While there is some stiffness, it does not impede in any way. I would rank it with a good-quality headphone cable.The cable interconnects were secure and well-made. The wood accents add a nice touch if you like that aesthetic.I would absolutely recommend this balanced cable extender. It is well-made, and an essential part of my at-home setup.

I got this balanced extension from NewFantasia so I can move around my home office while listening to my wired Over-Ear headphones without having to constantly take them off when I need something that is just out of reach.The quality of the cable is very good, with both connectors mating securely to the relevant components, and the wood sleeves are a nice aesthetic touch. The 4.9ft length is generous enough for my application, and I can move around more freely while keeping the headphones on my head.A potential downside is that the cable is a bit stiff -- it has not been a problem for me because it's an extension cable (meaning it's not near me or on me) so it does not need to be very compliant, but it may pose an issue if paired with IEMs that can easily be pulled out of your ears. Maybe it will become more flexible with continued use, but only time will tell. Most importantly, I have not experienced any loss of sound quality while using this product, which I think is the best outcome one can expect out of an extension cable as a single component in a signal chain.

I have different versions of these cables and they both look great and work perfectly. This version is just an extension for 4.4, I use it with IEMs on my desktop amp because iems typically have the shortest cable length. The only difference with this cable is that it doesn’t have the black parachord shield the others have, it still looks good with the others because of the matching wood terminals. Overall these cables are very well made.

For an extension cable, this is kinda fancy. The plugs are made of a wood grain and the cable is braided like a hair braid. I'm not sure what use case the seller considered when they made this cable but I'm sure it makes someone grateful that the seller considered aesthetics. As far as function, this cable works well as a headset extension cable with no noticeable audio interference with it's use.
