Great value and quick delivery. This rubber connector is tough, easy to use and fits perfectly for small wiring jobs. The rubber housing feels durable and gives good protection, and the bright orange colour is handy when working in busy kits or dim areas. A simple but very useful item. Would definitely recommend.Especially as I ran over my cable, a get out of jail card....

Works but with limitations
Not much to say, it makes a solid connection and needs a reasonable force to pull apart. The strain relief ferrules are a bit short and do not achieve much.

Ideal for gardening equipment
Use these on my hedge cutter, strimmer, flymo and now scarifier. I have 1 long lead that reaches to the end of my garden (long and narrow). The cables that come with most electric tools are too short and these connectors are the ideal way of having just 1 cable for everything. The result - a tidy garage!I just cut the original cable off, leaving about 0.3m and then attach the male half (with the exposed pins) of the connector.The female half of the connector is connected to the cable that is plugged into the mains socket (which should be RCD protected). You end up with a few unused connector halves however I keep these incase the connector on the long cable wears out or gets damaged.

Ideal for repairing a lawnmower cable.
Item performs as expected. Used to repair my Flymo electric lawnmower cable which saved me replacing the whole cable. The two connection pieces hold together well when plugged together, even though some reviews imply that they don’t. For the price I paid they are perfectly adequate and so would recommend.

Damaged lawn mower cord
Quick and easy to fit as I am not great with DIY. I had sliced through the lawn mower cord and this came next day , took about 15 minutes to fit .

Easy to use but ends don’t lock together
It does the job but the two parts don’t lock so you could accidentally reverse polarity if not paying attention when plugging together - I’ve taped it and marked the plug to show brown to brown and blue to blue wires. It says match the side with the two screws to ensure matching but it’s fiddly when assembling - next time will chooseCTRICALVER IP68 Cable Connector

Reasonably good
Pretty simple to fit despite my arthritic fingers dropping the tiny screws several times. Only complaint is the two pieces don't connect together very well but a strip of gaffer tape sorted that out
