This planter looks good and is well made. It's also relatively easy to put together. We use it indoors, but plugs can be removed to use it outside.Note that the self watering system is built into the top half, and the planter is entirely hollow below that. As we have a baby this could have been very dangerous, but I bought a bag of pebbles from the garden centre and dumped them on the bottom and this has weighted it down well. Note that there we chose small pebbles over big rocks as there is a plastic structure in the base.The self watering system can only be used once the plant has been established lishe for three months so I can't comment on that yet.

Very well made planter. Good German quality, nice shine, watering system and stylish for modern home. I though 32/55cm would be too small but it's perfect for average room size. Will buy another one soon :)

Amazing product

very good planter

This is a fabulous planter. I bought it to compliment my Other planters which are unavailable now (higher of the two in the picture) I wasn’t sure by the advert they would be a bright enough red but as you can see they are only slightly a deeper colour and still bright and glossy.There is a red rim which lifts up to form a handle to remove the insert plant pot which is a great idea and makes it easy to plant up. I didn’t realise they were self watering as I bought it for the colour, and on arrival thought it was all too complicated and fussy but when I put it all together I decided it would be well worth following the procedure. They have screw out plugs in the base of the outer and inner pots depending if you want to use these planters inside or outside. If I do the self watering element correctly and it works then it will be great, if not I’m not too bothered if I get it wrong, but I suspect it will be efficient and worth the initial set up. I put some tiny stones in plastic bags to put in the base of the outer planter just to keep it weighted down. I am so impressed with these planters I have ordered a shorter one still for that all important group of three display. My other red gloss planters are still as red and glossy after 4 years outside so I will update this review if these do the same… big thumbs up 👍🏼 and 6 stars and thrilled with them on all levels.
