2006 TUNDRA LIMITED
WORKED PERFECT FOR MY 2006 TUNDRA LIMITED, I've purchased a few from this seller before for my Sienna and 4runner and they've all worked just fine. This time the Tundra programing was kind of tricky, there is actually 3 was to do it, but the website only stated 2 different options, I did a little digging and was able to program it finally using a 3rd method I found on google. The range of the fob is surprisingly really good too, its about a block and a half before it starts to lose signal, but that's more than enough distance for me.Over all i highly recommend this key fob , its very inexpensive, so i suggest getting a 2 pack one extra just in case.

Easy Programming, Work Great, Bargain!
Purchased two for a 2005 4Runner. Followed the steps listed on remotesremotes.com to program them and both work flawlessly. I did slice a little thickness off of the panic button as I read that as an issue in reviews. The case actually seems heavier duty around the key ring part than the originals I replaced.I would purchase again, great deal!

Does NOT work!
Tried to program key fob with 2005 Tundra. Was able to get the truck into programming mode and fob did NOTHING! Tried multiple times, with different battery and still would not program. Now I have to print a label and return the item at the nearest UPS store to get $12 back. Not worth the hassle. Do not buy this item!

Be patient while 'programing', & the panic button needs to be trimmed
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this replacement fob remote for a recently purchased used 2004 RAV4, with high mileage. Wouldn't you know it, but I lost the original Toyota fob one evening and never found it. This very affordable replacement fob is the exact size and design as the original. Programming is not difficult, although I had to attempt it several times, and I'm not sure why, but it might be more to do with the car, and/or with the programmer (me). The original key is not a "chip" key. I don't know if there were chip keys for the 2001 - 2005 RAV4's. If you've had trouble programing the fob, don't give up. Take a break. Then try again. Watch the video on YouTube (which can be found using the websites provided) -even as you are going through "programing" steps, and follow each action exactly. (It involves a series of opening and closing the driver's door, locking and unlocking all doors, and inserting the actual key in the ignition and turning to "On" but not starting the car. It may seem strange, but this is how these cars were set up, and so that you won't have to pay a dealership or a locksmith $200 or more to do something to can do yourself for free. So be patient with yourself. In my case, I might have missed a part of one of the steps, which caused the sequence to fail. The last step is turning the key to "Off" and then removing it is the step I may have messed up on. If it doesn't work, just try the entire sequence again and eventually you'll get it to work.Panic button protrudes too far and is too easily pressedOthers have commented that the "Panic" button (the red button on the reverse side) protrudes too high and is easily inadvertently pressed, causing the car's horn to start blowing. This happened to me a few times. The easy solution is to remove a portion of the silicone rubber from the part of the button that shows through the opening, i.e., the part that is pressed. This was simple to do. Carefully pry open the housing using a flat-head screwdriver and carefully pry open the long sides of the housing. Be careful not to put too much force on the plastic. It will pop open. Then carefully remove the red button. Place it flat on a solid surface, like a kitchen cutting board. Using a razor blade cutter or scraper (whatever it's called) to carefully cut off a bit of the button as in the photos I posted here. Lay the button flat on the hard surface with the dimple or smaller part facing up. Then very carefully and SLOWLY use the razor blade cutter to slice off a certain thickness of the silicone. The thickness is about 1 mm to 1.5 mm, about the thickness of a USA penny. Be careful not to push or slice too quickly so as not to cut your fingers! It would be better to use needle-nose pliers or some other tool (tweezers?) to hold the red button while cutting. Check the thickness and if it looks good, reassemble the fob, being careful to place the button with the correct side facing the outside of the housing. The two halves of the housing easily snap back together, beginning with the end with the key ring loophole. Voila! No more accidentally setting off the "panic" horn honking! Peace and all good.
