Rubie's Costume Co Sombrero with Rainbow Serape Edge And Band Costume

Since this item was just for a party, I was not all that concerned about high quality. Considering the price, I did not expect quality. Color me surprised. This was a very well made, sturdy, and good looking hat. I have actually purchased a much higher dollar sombrero in the past, (they are fantastic for working outdoors), and yet this less expensive version was on par, if not just a bit better, than my previous purchase. Hats off to the makers of these sombreros.

I bought this sombrero on a whim, thinking, “Hey, why not?” Little did I know, it would become my emotional support sombrero. Feeling down? Sombrero. Existential crisis? Sombrero. Crying in the shower? Sombrero (waterproofing not included). There is simply no way to stay sad while wearing this giant, majestic hat. The moment you put it on, your problems shrink in comparison to its massive, sun-blocking brim. Your posture straightens. Your confidence soars. Suddenly, you’re salsa dancing in your living room, dramatically flipping the brim after making bold life decisions. The only downside? It turns everyday tasks into an obstacle course. I’ve knocked over drinks, gotten stuck in doorways, and nearly taken out a ceiling fan. But honestly, if my personal growth requires some minor property damage, so be it.

I purchased for my 3 year old grandson. We were going to Mexico and I did not want to carry back his souviner so I pre-purchased. I chose this one after reviews of the child size stated it was very small. This is adult side and is to big for him (me too) but it is exactly what I wanted well worth the cost not costumey at all. The ones at the gift shops in Mexico were cheaply made and more expensive. And I did not have to carry it home!

purchased mostly as decor for an upcoming birthday fiesta, also with the idea of using it to hold tortilla chips on a food table. the hat is huge! and would have taken up way too much room. ended up returning for a child size, which was perfect for what i had in mind. however, i didn't notice any quality issues, and the price was great compared to some in store options i came across.

Bought two of these for a special function. They are exactly as expected ... same as in the picture. Worked great for the function, and now my grandkids play with them.

Great product...wore it on sunny days when working outside. i was the only person who did not get a bad sunburn and everyone was trying ot buy my sombrero from me.
