I felt the teapot was fine for basic uses. I also liked the look of it.However, I didn't own the pot long before the screw holding the lid and pot together fell off. It must have happened without me noticing as I was never able to locate the screw again. I would have added Loctite to the screw if I was aware of this ahead.

This is an update to my previous review (below) since I've used it for a few months now. It took a while to get used to the super light weight of the cups and saucers. I'd decided that I'd put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and see how they hold up. They've held up very well with not even a scratch. I'd change my mind and state I've found them quite practical to use on a daily basis. As far as the lack of groove on the saucer goes, I place a small piece of fabric on the saucer which keeps the cup from sliding. It ended up adding extra look to this already cute set. So after a while of using them, I've gotten to quite loving them. I'll buy another set through the Subscribe and Save program.*** Previous review below:I really really wanted to love these cup and saucer. I've had it in my wish list for a while before purchasing them. I don't love them, but I don't hate them either. The design is definitely a winner, but I wish they were made of thicker glass, although I'm not sure if that's possible w/ borosilicate glass. At the same time, the thinness of the glass is also part of what makes the design attractive, so as I said, I am divided.What I don't like, for sure, is that the heat of the liquid is transferred immediately to your hands due to the thinness of the glass. If you're careful, that may not be a problem, but I'm not always sipping my tea or coffee in a dainty manner. ^_^ My index finger and middle finger fit comfortably in the handle/loop, but they tend to slip when the cup is full which leads to the top side of the fingers being pressed against the body of the cup itself - think burning fingers from the hot temperature - and if you can't put it down fast enough safely, the liquid may spill out from the cup.There is no groove on the saucer and the bottom of the cup is flat, so the cup slides around on the saucer. Again, spilled liquid or the cup falling out of the saucer, etc.They held up well in my no-so-gentle dishwasher despite the thinness and delicate feel.As I said, I was really looking forward to getting these cups and saucers and was still excited to see how cute they were. Unfortunately, as cute as they are, I have not found them practical in everyday use.

Don’t get me wrong. This is a lovely pot. I was going to give it 5 stars. However, I bout this pot thinking it’s plenty big for a nice two cups of tea. I was disappointed when I saw how little water you can put in it. Am of course you can’t put too much leaves or they don’t get wet. So there’s that.

Jan 2023 - Update - Seller responded to my review with replacement offer - I accepted the offer and the replacement teapot arrived within days. As I noted initially, I like the clear glass design and will give it another chance. Hopefully the original teapot had a manufacturing defect and the replacement will last. Very impressed with the customer service contact. Original review: I liked the clear glass and being able to see the tea, however, the glass in the body of the teapot is far too thin. I'd only used the teapot for a few months before cracks developed at the base of the handle. I am the only one using the teapot, and it was hand-washed, and stored in a cabinet, so it did not experience hard usage or mishandling. I was concerned when I initially removed it from its packing materials because of the thinness of the glass and apparent fragility. I even checked on returning it, but even though I purchased it through Amazon - it was blocked. Can't recommend purchase due to lack of durability and inability to return for refund.

The set looks good, but broke the square infuser the first time cleaning it.

I bought this teapot so I could start making herbal teas for the betterment of my health. This teapot is fantastic! It's easy to clean, the glass is tempered so it's tough, & it's manly enough that no one questions my choice of teapot.

Although one saucer arrived broken, I didn’t care about replacing it. Because it doesn’t need a saucer. The cup is nice and holds well when in use. Drinking tea from it can be quite gratifying because of its clean simple design.

the tea pot was nice and sturdy and the infuser was good. the lid was too light and filmsy and i cut myself on the edge. i was hoping to take this towork but i’m afraid the lid might break off.but overall it was ok

Ich habe die Teekanne nun seit Dezember letzten Jahres und muss sagen, dass ich den Kauf nicht bereue. Sie ist nicht nur schön, sondern erfüllt ihren Zweck auch anstandslos. Ich bin sehr glücklich mit der Kanne und würde sie wieder kaufen. Aber hoffen wir mal, dass sie mir noch sehr lange erhalten bleibt.Der einzige Nachteil ist, was die Kanne aber nichts für kann, ist, dass der Hals von der Teekanne etwas schwierig zu säubern ist. Hierfür brauche ich wohl einen speziellen Schwamm. Sie ist zwar für die Spülmaschine geeignet und wird auch sauber, aber bei meiner Spülmaschine bleibt im Hals danach etwas Restbelag von der Spülmaschine kleben. Wie gesagt, dafür kann die schöne Kanne nichts.

Me encantan las infusiones. Este producto combina buena presencia y funcionalidad. El colador metálico es perfecto súper fino. Y se puede extraer fácilmente para servir las infusiones perfectamente. La jarra es delicada pero hermosa. Lo recomiendo
