Also only one end of each cable is labelled so do a quick check which end fits in which as I had the motherboard one back to front and it wouldn't clip on. Its a good power supply I've had mine running 24/7 for the past 4 months **Q: Can this power a gpu that needs 3 separate Power leads** A: Hi there, Yes, you can power GPUs with 3 PCIe power inputs with separate leads. Kind regards **Q: Does it have usb connectors** A: no the psu does not come with USB ports. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What could be better than this MSI PSU with latest ATX 3.0 spec. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5 September 2023* The MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 PSU is a powerhouse of a power supply unit that has left me thoroughly impressed with its performance, reliability, and innovative design. Here's my honest take on its performance and features. As of writing I have been using this PSU for the last week or so.The MPG 850G boasts compatibility with PCIe 5, which provides some degree of future-proofing for system upgrades. Its 80 Plus Gold certification ensures decent efficiency, helping to manage power consumption effectively. In terms of build quality, the MPG 850G is solidly constructed with premium components. It is a shame that the smart design is hidden away under a PSU shroud. The fully modular design simplifies cable management, contributing to a cleaner interior and potentially better airflow. I liked the flatness of the cables as this aided in routing them throughout my case (Fractal Design Pop air)One notable aspect is its relatively quiet operation. The large ~140mm fan does its job efficiently, keeping noise levels at a reasonable level even under demanding tasks. This is definitely appreciated, especially for those who prioritize a quieter computing experience. And if 0RPM mode is switched on, the Fan doesn't even operate under 40% load, meaning no additional noise is created. This is great as I use the PC in a communal living space.Worth mentioning is the excellent 10yr warranty, which gives me piece of mind that my purchase should have a long life, possibly beyond my current PC build.Overall, the MSI MPG 850G PCIe 5 Power Supply delivers decent performance and features. While it has its strengths such as compatibility with PCIe 5 and efficient operation, there are some areas for improvement like cable length. If you're in the market for a mid-range power supply with solid performance, the MPG 850G is worth considering. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great build quality for a great price *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 April 2025* I got this PSU because MSI is a brand I trust. I’ve used MSI parts for around 20 years and they have never let me down. I find the build quality is always great and well packaged so the items get to you un-damaged.ProsGreat cable quality and everything you need for your builds.Silent switch on the PSU so if your PC is idle and the PSU is cool the fan will switch off.Nice design on the side of the PSU so if you have a case where you can see the PSU then you are not just looking at a black box.A choice of 12v GPU cables.ConsThe SATA power cables are a bit too long for my build so I did have to tuck them in a bit more than I would have liked.Over all this PSU has been a great addition to my all MSI build and will deliver the power I need to run my PC and give me some headroom if I want to add more drives, upgrade my GPU or over clock my system. At £109.99 I personally feel it’s an amazing price and with a 10 year warranty over the 7 year you get with the MAG PSU for an extra £10 I feel it’s a no brainer ## Frequently Bought Together - MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 Power Supply Unit, UK Plug - 850W, 80 Plus Gold Certified, Fully Modular ATX 3.0, PCIe 5.0 GPU Support, Japanese 105°C Capacitors, 0% RPM Mode, Flat Cables - 10 Year Warranty - AMD Ryzensets 7 7800X3D Processor with 3D V Cache technology (integrated Radeon Graphics, 8 cores/16 threads, 120W TDP, AM5 Socket, 104MB cache, up to 5.0 GHz max boost, no cooler) - CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30-36-36-76 1.40V AMD EXPO Intel XMP 3.0 Computer Memory – Grey (CMK32GX5M2B6000Z30) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/513368367-msi-mpg-a850g-pcie5](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/513368367-msi-mpg-a850g-pcie5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
