I get some debris in our spa but not much. The trees are far enough away to pose no problem but some dust, twigs and leaves do firnd their way in. I chose this one based on reviews, it's smaller compact size and price, although there are cheaper ones. It arrived perfectly, I charged it up, assembled a few parts and put it to the test.It works great. It's not real powerful like the built-in one on our pool put perfect to grab quickly and clean up a small spa as needed. I see some people using it in a pool but I don't think it's designed for that. I cleaned our spa floor and seating area with three months of accumulated debris in about 5 minutes. Done. I spot cleaned it a few weeks later in about 3 minutes. I recharged it once but not because I had to. It's light weight and easy to handle and store. I wouldn't recommend it for a large area but it does the job for us.

Second update Sept 1 2024- I like to “tinker” so I took the 6 screws out to check what might have caused it to stop working. An odd piece of debris came out. Then it worked fine again. Not sure how something got inside but I anm happy that l got curious. Works great again👍 Update 8-29-2024…..disappointed that it only lasted 16 months before it stopped working. Loved it but not wanting to buy one every year .I am so pleased with how well this cleaned the bottom of my spa. I have struggled with small grit at the bottom and in corners of the spa. This was super easy to use and got into all the odd spaces. Definitely has a long enough handle and charged quickly. Just read the information - you need a 5v usb charger at home ( prettt standard with other electronics) or need to buy one. I wish I had bought this long ago.

I had purchased this vacuum, because I'm battling algae and scaling in a saltwater pool. I have hard water, since I'm on a well, and I was hoping this vacuum would solve my problem. I didn't want to vacuum to waste, since i pretty much have to add salt or chemicals every time i add water to the pool... anyhow, I used it today, after floccing the pool and noticed that the fine algae particles just come out the top and disperse into the water, making it cloudy again. The vacuum did get the bits of scaling that are flaking off, as well as the dirt and other bigger debris. It was fantastic for what it is meant for!! I did notice that some of the bigger, coagulated bits of algae did stick to the cartridge and if it got too junky, the suction would dwindle. You just have to spray off the cartridge and go at it again. If it was my miracle cure for all my pool issues, I would have gave it a 5 star rating. It's still a really decent vacuum for the money!***Update***It's been a month, since I bought the vacuum and it's still going strong! I've grown to love this little fella! Great, if you want to clean up the pool without dragging out the hoses and regular vacuum. Awesome for spot cleaning and great suction. If this thing were to die today, I'd be sad and definitely get a new one. Happy vacuuming!!

It worked flawlessly for 10 months then stopped charging. I emailed the mfr to ask about the "Buy with confidence; if you're not satisfied with this item at any time within the first year of purchase, we'll provide a refund or replacement." warranty but have not received a response.

This pool vacuum is a game-changer! It’s super effective at picking up tiny particles, leaving my pool spotless. The charging time is quick, and it lasts a long time on a single charge, which is perfect for doing the whole pool. Plus, it’s a breeze to clean, which is an added bonus. Highly recommend it!

Disclosure: im using this to vac the bottom of a shallow koi pond that has been manually scrubbed. (KOI are gone; it’s now a plunge pool.). Suction is ok. But since it was a natural pond with liner there is some muck. So there was a lot of repeated cleaning of the filter screens, etc. if used in a pool or hot tub, this would not be an issue. And it DOES vac up silt and other debris. Overall, it’s a bit of a learning curve as to what to expect. For example, keep an eye on the amount of discharge water at the handle end. Once it reduces or stops flowing, it’s time to clean the filters - nose end and handle end.And the instruction manual is (oh so) typical Chinese/English. Rubbish. Seems to me that if an American company is marketing products made in China, they should make an effort to (re)write a manual that is readable and accurately describes the operation of the product.

I am absolutely thrilled with this pool vacuum! It's easy to assemble, holds a good charge and the suction on it is fantastic! I cleaned the pool quickly and easily. The vacuum is a breeze to take apart to empty the debris.I purchased it to use in my 4' deep pool and for that I needed to buy a telescopic pole to attach it to. You need a 1 1/4" diameter pole in order to use it with the vacuum.I highly recommend this vacuum. It does a GREAT job!

This product worked great in the beginning. Problem was it did not come with any type of charging port protection from water when submerged. We made a make shift protector with plumber's putty and cellophane. First time our "plug" came loose while the vacuum was running under water, it stopped working. There was nothing in the intructions about it needing a plug, but we knew bc of other vacuums we owned. Not worth the price for less than a dozen uses.
