Quality Computing Power
I use the laptop for personal home use. The only thing I can say that is in any way negative is that it starts to bog down when the battery is near complete discharge. This can work to notify me when it is time to plug it in, however. There is a handy widget available that helps keep an eye on the battery percentage as well. I appreciate how quickly it charges to one hundred percent. I keep the screen brightness at ninety-nine. (I also keep the blue light filter engaged.) Therefore, the battery discharge rate is faster than the ideal which is advertised. It still lasts for several hours though. I generally attempt to plug it back in around twenty percent. I have been using it for a few weeks, but I notice no difference in performance from out of the box. I did watch a few YouTube videos to aid in streamlining some of the OS settings. I chose Chrome (had to search for download link and install from Edge) as my default browser and it works satisfactorily. Articles and such that are clicked from Widgets open in Edge by default. Onboard Wi-Fi works great. Videos play without hitch. Speakers work well, but I would recommend a Bluetooth speaker or headphones for appreciating music. (The onboard Bluetooth is also useful for connecting my Android phone via Phone Link.) This model does not have a touch screen. Neither am I an avid gamer. McAfee security is available free for one month. I am considering what freeware I might install so that I am not taking on another subscription payment. Overall, I think that the purchase was a bargain because of the hardware capacities available for a budget price.UPDATE:After further research of customer reviews, I surmised that the 1TB drive was not in use. The Windows 11 OS was installed on the onboard SD card - as is indicated in some other reviews. So, it was back to YouTube for tutorials. I muddled through with a freeware partitioning program. Also, I did some reading in the online user manual to make sure I could access the BIOS menus before I started doing anything. I eventually achieved the objective of migrating the OS to the drive the build intends for it. (Then again, I can imagine a scenario where a power user might want to install their preferred OS. In that case, the way it came would be optimal for an efficient install.) The smaller drive is now utilized for backups - which program can be accessed via Control Panel. However, it was all nerve-racking. I debated with myself ("Hi Ren") as to whether to take a star back on my rating. The balance tipped on my previous bottom line regarding the computing power available for a bargain price. I am leaving the five stars because of the bonus value compared to other makers that might have sorted the configuration anomaly before shipping. On a different note, I came across another YouTube video that indicated that the Windows native security suite is more robust than it ever had been in yesteryear. I, therefore, uninstalled the McAfee programs - which process is a little bit more involved than it needed to be. So far, so good.Another thing that I forgot to mention is that there is an audible fan that kicks on every now and again. I am uncertain if this belongs to the processor, the GPU, or both. I doubt that it is an auxiliary added to the motherboard for general purposes or battery cooling, but that is also a possibility.Anyway, the laptop is still working well and the hardware and OS combo is now optimized to the best effort of this amateur user.

The WORST computer
This computer was truly a waist of money. First, it was next to impossible to set up because it requires a Wi-Fi connection BUT IT WONT LET YOU CONNECT TO WI-FI UNTIL ITS SET UP!! Has to reach out to customer service and somehow we got it situated. Finally, after I got it set up, it would just randomly shut down and restart in the middle of doing work. But wait, there’s more!A little less than 6 months in, the computer itself began to actually come apart at the hinge that connects the screen to the keyboard. I reached out to Lenovo and they said that the warranty does not cover “damage” even though I DID NOT DAMAGE THE COMPUTER. It literally just started coming apart because it is very very cheaply made. The computer is now completely unusable as the screen has completely separated from the keyboard and I refuse to spend hundreds to repair a computer that barely worked anyway. This was very disappointing because we have other Lenovo products that are reliable and durable. This computer is not that. Now, due to their absolutely terrible customer service, we will definitely NOT be purchasing Lenovo products again. This product gets a giant thumbs down from us.

it is a great computer
I love this computer, the only thing I can see wrong is the 128gb internal hard drive. I hope this is enough for what I need. But other than that And i may be wrong but it seems small it is a beautiful computer. I got the 1RB not the hard drive but a movie drive. it is a great computer. I put the win 11 pro in and it is working great

Simple Windows Laptop: Good for Basic Needs
This 15.6-inch HD laptop fits the bill for basic Windows use. As a Mac user, I got it for my wife who isn’t a Mac user and doesn’t want to learn. The HD display is clear enough for browsing or documents, and the 15.6-inch size feels roomy without being bulky. The setup process is annoying, though—as only Windows can be—but once it’s done, it handles her light use—like emails and web browsing—without trouble. It’s not as polished as a Mac, and the downside is it doesn’t work with a dock station, which limits its flexibility. The build feels a bit cheap too, but for simple Windows needs, it works fine. Battery lasts for short sessions but not much more. For the price, it’s a decent choice if you don’t need anything fancy, though it could be more affordable.

Works For A While
The computer works well enough, but when opening the computer after about 10 months, the screen casing broke. Now whenever I try to open the computer, the screen freaks out, disconnects and reconnects, and when I attempt to close the computer, it no longer registers as going to sleep.I've never dropped or mishandled the computer, so the fact that the screen hinge and casing broke purely from use is incredibly frustrating.

Not the quality you expect from Lenovo.
Bought for simpler office-related tasks, but the mediocre processing power and frequent blue screens of death mean this laptop isn't reliable enough for anything important. I've been loyal to Lenovo since it was still IBM, but this machine has made me reconsider. It's a waste of money, and they shouldn't put the Lenovo name on garbage.*Update - Had just over a year, and now the housing for the screen is separating near the hinge. This computer doesn't travel often and lives an easy life. It's just a lousy build. Should have returned.

Excellent power for the price!
This is a very fast laptop. Easy to set up and my wife loves it. It seems quicker then my intel I7!
