Review: Works great! - This is a solid, high quality item that seals well and fixed my pump unpriming issue.
Review: Nice design - This foot valve is being used with a 1/2 hp shallow well pump to pull water from a creek for use in a trailer. So far it's functioned perfectly. Other brands that I've used have a screw that holds the screen on to the valve and that screw eventually rusts through and the screen falls off. This design appears to eliminate that problem. So far, so good. It was also significantly less expensive than any of the local home improvement centers.
