Good value, does the job. Fairly quiet. Only slight thing I'm not keen on is the light is a cold blue, like I'd imagine in a laboratory. I'd prefer a warm white.

Needed a fan that could fit the existsing cut out for a hood thats 10+years old. Things have certainly got smaller over the years and this was as big as i could find. Perfect width to me existing, but length tad short so had to add filler peice (was fine with that as other hoods were smaller in width too). Whilst it is a cheapy fan, it performs well and is more powerful then me old one..tad noisier but fully acceptable. Controls upfront so the extracator is pushed back a touch, was kind of tempted to fit backwards but went with it...just leaves some of my gas hobs off slightly off centre. It lookssmart enough mind and does a good job. Worth 5stars given what you get for your money

Bought this item to replace the Hygena APM2295 unit I had fitted with the kitchen; which extracted out through the wall. Found it cheaper to just replace the old unit with this Cookology unit rather than try to repair the Hygena one. I advise you check carefully your dimensions before buying. My old unit had a larger outlet diameter but had an adapter, which I just removed and the existing aperture in the hood was too wide in one direction to allow the mounting screws to grip; so I added two small timber batons to narrow this down to fix the new unit to. Had the unit now for a few weeks and found it slightly less on suction power but much better on lighting. For the money this is an excellent buy and quite a smart looking unit.

Pretty easy to install, small adjustments from original one. Needed adapter to connect to existing extractor hose but only couple of pounds from local hardware shop. Don’t find noisy, typically run on highest fan setting (why do they have a lowest?) LED lights a bonus really bright compared to old bulb ones. A fraction of the price compared to any on the branded makes. Super fast delivery as well.

Very neat cooker hood, easy to install, would recommend.

Excellent value, replacement for a Blanco extractor which we’ve never been happy with, especially the light, “more light from a candle” this one is far better and to us, better in appearance. Durability will tell in time, but we’re happy with our purchase.
