Perfect size! I put a bunch of little eggs and treats inside and the kids loved it. They were so excited when they saw how much the egg was

They were nice size for stuffing...even put a couple outfits with candy inside...only problem...even closing the lids shut till you heard the snap...some kept opening up...but all in all they were ok.

My children are almost 10 and 11 1/2, still believe in the Easter Bunny, but I limit how much candy I let them have, so I usually get them toy type items for Easter instead of candy. This year we are traveling and will be with friends out of state so I decided to use these Easter eggs and put a little candy and come gift cards in for gaming and they are perfect. The eggs are made of a good durable plastic, super bright and colorful and decent in size. I filled them with some paper grass, some candy kisses, lollipops, a small chocolate rabbit and a couple gifts cards for gaming - I think they will love them!! The edges where the eggs connect were smooth and went together easily and seem to seal tight. I gave these Easter eggs a rating of 5 stars, although I only needed 2, they come in a pack of 8 for $27, so if you do the math they are less than $3.50 each. I recommend these plastic Easter eggs and they are a great alternative to a Easter basket.

My wife laid out the display for photos.You can see they are around 10" tall. I did not find any defects worth noting. They are brightly colored and blend in with many different colors too.I did not notice any sharp edges. Some are a bit tight on the fit but snap together and come apart fairly easy for a child to open. Ages? That is up to you.GUYS!! One idea was to hide that engagement ring inside the egg instead of a cupcake. Cupcakes? Cake? Are you asking for a chipped tooth and huge dental bill? Use the egg. Plenty of colors - find her favorite!Use your imagination. Plenty of treats and toys can be put inside.We will be using these for decoration. For the family visitors ;)
