I love this set of bamboo crochet hooks. They are very good for a gift and for a personal use. Reasonable price and good quality. Very light and comfortable in hands.I like that they came wrapped in cotton case.I ordered also the other bamboo sets (single and double pointed needles) and I'm very pleased with them all.Definitely recommend!

Very well presented, represents good value for money. Includes most of the largest hooks. However, the smaller sizes arelike working with cocktail sticks, did not use them, impossible to work with. Overall though very pleased with purchase, light and easy to use and because I did not have any of the larger sizes did not return the item.

Nice smooth hooks. Perfect for my project and love the fabric holder to keep them safe.

First time using the 4mm and 3mm hooks today and sadly they have both broken! The hook came straight off the 3mm. I really like using bamboo hooks, but I'll have to just use the chunky ones and stick to metal for the rest!

These hooks look lovely and come in a cute little fabric roll. They are nice to hold, really light so great if you are prone to hand cramps etc. The problem is that whilst they look and feel quite smooth, the area between the hook and the thumb grip is not smooth. There are small catches and tears in the bamboo which snag on the yarn and tear it a little. Then the yarn pulls on the splinter/catch and it gets bigger which makes the problem even worse until you just have to stop because the yarn is shredded and the hook is rough to hold. They reach this stage within very few stitches - 10 or so. I tried to give it a very light sanding with a very fine sand paper and even a fine emery board but it was no use. I have tried 5 different hooks in the set and it's the same with all of them so I have given up and am looking at buying some more to replace these.It's a real shame, but I cannot recommend these at all.

These are perfect, so far I've not come across any that have caught on my yarn.Very nice and comfortable to hold, I think I prefer them to my regular metal hooks.

I have already used this product quite a few times and these hooks are wonderful (as are the needles Curtsy also sells, which I also tried out)! I fully recommend. My only negative comment would be that I was not sure it was necessary for the product to come wrapped in plastic, especially since the hooks are already in a lovely canvas holder.

Hello I am a beginner to crochet and these are the first needles I have used/owned I found them a little tricky in the beginning but I think that was more on me than the product. I found sometimes my yarn stuck to my needle so I used some furniture wax to give them some love and they are working fantastically. I like that they come in a handy roll so I don't loose them and I can't wait to be making cozy things with them.

son my lindos y se me ha hecho muy facil tejer debido a que mis manos suelen sudar mucho, no sé como pero no se me resbalan a cada rato como con ganchos de otro material

Ho acquistato questo articolo 3 anni fa, anche a me è successo che durante i primi utilizzi il filo si impigliasse un po’, ho levigato appena la parte con l’uncino di quei pezzi che lo richiedevano e da allora non ho avuto nessun problema. Anzi più si utilizzano e meglio scorrono. Non farei mai a meno! Li consiglio sicuramente.

Jag tyckte inte om känslan i handen. Och den fastnade som i garnet. Virkade med bomullsgarn. Hqft bambuvirknålar tidigare som jag tyckte väldigt mycket om, vilket var anledningen till att jag köpte dessa (då mina tidigare gått sönder).

Je n'ai pas encore tout utiliser mais j'ai vérifié qu'ils ne crochaient pas. Ils sont légers mais très solides et agréables et doux. La house les protègent un peu car tissu léger mais elle est pratique pour les vacances. Je recommande ce produit.

Ich habe mir mittlerweile bereits das zweite Mal dieses Set an Bambushäkelnadeln bestellt und bin vollkommen zufrieden. Wer nicht viel lesen mag, das Fazit unten sagt das wichtigste.Für alle, die es detaillierter mögen:Wieso zwei Mal? Ganz einfach, weil ich allgemein vollkommen zufrieden mit diesen hier bin, mir allerdings die 3mm-Nadel kaputt gegangen war. Ich habe keine Möglichkeit gefunden eine 3mm-Nadel einzeln nachzubestellen, also musste das Set noch einmal her. So hab ich wenigstens Ersatz, falls eine der anderen Nadeln mal abhanden kommt.Nun werden Sie sich sicher fragen: Wieso kauft jemand zweimal, wenn beim ersten Mal bereits etwas kaputt ging?Ganz einfach: Man braucht sich nicht wundern, wenn einem der Häkelkopf abreißt, wenn man versucht ein Band durch einen Tunnelzug zu ziehen, welches eigentlich viel zu Dick für den Stoffkanal ist. Es war also ein unsachgemäßer Einsatz der Nadel. Fehler des Anwenders, nicht des Herstellers.Ansonsten war ich in dem 3/4 Jahr, die ich die Nadeln besitze sehr zufrieden. Teilweise ist ein Grad nicht 100% glatt abgeschliffen, dass hier die Wolle hängen bleiben kann, ja. Doch dies ist ganz simpel zu beheben, indem man 2-3 Mal mit einer Nagelfeile über die betreffende Stelle fährt. Arbeit von 3 Sekunden und eine Nagelfeile hat denke ich mal jeder von uns im Haus.Dafür liebe ich die Bambusnadeln, weil sie angenehm zwischen den Fingern liegen. Ich neige dazu bei längerem Häkeln an den Händen zu schwitzen. Anders als auf Metall oder Plastik gleite ich an den Bambusnadeln mit feuchten Fingern jedoch nicht ab. Außerdem empfinde ich die minimale Flexibilität der Nadel ebenfalls als Angenehm, gerade wenn man durch enge Maschen hindurch muss.Fazit: Für den Preis bekommt man meiner Meinung nach ein solides Set an Nadeln. (Einzelner Nadelpreis <1 Euro, da kann man nicht meckern!) Das Baumwolltäschchen dazu finde ich sehr praktisch und es sieht hübsch aus.Bambus empfinde ich als Material großartig, da es erstens nachhaltig und natürlich ist und von der Anwendung mit mehr zusagt als Metall oder Plastik (Begründung siehe oben)Dazu kommt, dass die Nadeln somit auch Flugtauglich sind und nicht in der Sicherheitskontrolle hängen bleiben.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung
