I uave a men's 9 foot and these fit nicely but I will say that they might be too large for bare, skinny ankles. I always have socks on and they work out perfectly. Also, walking around with them over my sneakers feels fine, no uneveness when I walk. They're made very well. The "D" rings and sew patterns are pretty heavy duty. I would buy these again.
