Powerful. Capable. But heavy. I recommend buying the backpack battery holder, if you have back issues as I do. In addition to making the weedeater less heavy in the hand, you might use a bigger battery than you might otherwise choose.

Lightweight, quiet, overall good trimmer but it’s advertised as a cut time of 45minutes but that seems like a reach. Especially on the higher speed settings and thick foliage. It does cut really good especially with the include line but the run time just seems short. But it is advertised as a more of a trimmer than actual weedeater/mower so i guess that’s to be expected.

This is an outstanding trimmer. I have gone through no less than half a dozen cordless trimmers from three or four different manufacturers, and they all were underpowered and wimpy. I literally have a collection of trimmers in my shed that I'm trying to sell on Facebook marketplace. This one however will probably be the last one I ever have to buy until it wears out. I love the power. I love the versatility of changing heads. I love the length of time the battery lasts. It's a good product. A bit pricey but worth it.

Highly recommended tool if you are using the EGO battery tool system for your yard tools. I already have an ego lawn mower and leaf blower and wanted to add an extra tool to the stable. I only really needed the weed wacker at this time, but can't foresee using the swappable tool ends for future expansion. The weed wacker works really well. My father-in-law is a landscaper and he usually swears by gas powered tools but he actually enjoys using the electric weed wacker tool.

This is pretty ideal for a string trimmer, it is powerful and relatively quiet. The downfall is the tiller attachment, it is too heavy for the powerhead shaft. I used it Three times last season, and it did a good job breaking up the soil and making a smooth bed. This season, I took it out of the garage and assembled it, did some weed whacking, then I tried to do some tilling after forking up a bed. The attachment felt pretty loose and wobbly, when I tried to do a second bed. The carbon fiber shaft broke apart from the powerhead. After an hour on the phone with Customer Service they told me I had to bring it to a local service center which said they could look at it in two weeks. Well, two weeks without my tool went by and they are telling me they won’t honor the lifetime warranty on the carbon fiber shaft. I am highly disappointed in the EGO brand, now I have a bunch of attachments I can’t use. After several hours on the phone getting the runaround, I realized my only option was to buy a new powerhead for almost $200 or lose all the money I spent on these useless attachments.

First thing that's surprising is the battery life. It takes me at least 30 to do trimming and the 4ah battery has no problem powering the trimmer for that long. Recharge time is about an hour. Second is how well the auto line feeder works. I've never had any luck with lines feeders. My old trimmer had single line heads, no auto. I've used this for months and never a problem. When the line gets short it automatically feeds me line. Also the power winding for refilling works excellent and is a great feature. I've not had to fight with either feeding or winding new line. Unit has plenty of torque and power. Nearly equal to my 2 stroke unit. Very pleased overall. Highly recommend and would buy again

A little bit heavy More power than my old John Deere gas powered Well balanced Used for 1 summer on our country property and tool and battery are like new 2 speeds are nice for around things that can get damaged, low speed still has lots of power Only reason for 4 and not 5 star is the weight and cost, but I think until lighter batteries are made the weight can’t be helped if you want good,long lasting batteries. Nice easy starting compared to my old gas trimmer Can do my whole yard on 1 charge.20-30 minutes About 1hr to charge battery
