Loved working this puzzle! This was the first foil puzzle I've done and it was nice to discover that the foil dots on the pieces actually match where the foil dots were on the box cover, which made it easier to confirm that some pieces were going in the right spot (there's no foil on the poster, just a sort of white dot where the foil would be). So pretty and Christmas-y! A good mix of some sections easier to put together and others tougher - sections like the cars in front, the green/yellow house, etc. came together quickly, and others like the bare trees around the top were a little tougher. Looking forward to doing many more Galison and Michael Storrings puzzles!

I love these Michael Storrings puzzles! They are a challenge, but so much fun!

Great puzzle, but warning....difficult! It also had 15 duplicate pieces, which was confusing, and one missing. As skiers we did enjoy the puzzle.

I like the Michael Storrings images of New York so much that I have three of them framed on the wall of my living room and have just completed this one, the St. Patrick's Cathedral. I have never been to New York and I still love them. He makes the Big City feel like a true community: kids, dogs, bicycles, musicians, food, taxis, and something going on. The puzzles are challenging. All the pieces are the same shape: two out, two in. But the pieces going up and down are longer and narrower and the ones going across are shorter and wider, so It's easy to sort them into two groups, and to know which shape comes next. I found this one a bit slower going once I got to the Cathedral itself. The sky, the tall buildings, the flags and the street scene were intuitive, but the pieces for the Cathedral were very much alike. Still, it's a charming image, a satisfying final result, and one more work of art for my house. Thank you Michael.

Lovely jigsaw - really enjoyed doing this one. I was a bit worried I might not be able to complete it but it’s definitely do-able with a bit of perseverance. Lovely quality pieces and it comes in a very attractive small box.
