Is this product UV protective too?

This does not have UV protectant in it. I purchased a separate product called Force Field UV protection. I am going to put that one on first and then let it cure for 24 hours . Then I will spray this product on top of the UV protectant.

What kind of coverage will a gallon supply on a comercial grade carpet? Rough estimate will do. Thanks.

i did a boat cover with 1 gallon that was 12' x 30'. i probably went a little too heavy, but it really works great!! the rain just races off it.

does it clean and protect?

This a protectant. 303 also has a cleaner you can use to prep before treatment. I use 303 cleaner and 303 protectant on my Audi A5 convertable top and it is very effective to repell water and dirt. I hope this was helpful. Enjoy!

I have a jute rug in my kids' toy room that I'd like to spray this on. Is this okay to use on an indoor jute rug, or is it for things used outside?

It would be fine to use on the rug, but make sure that you use it in a well-ventilated area, or that you air the rug outdoors while the product dries.
