Tight Afro Kinky Bulk for Braiding 18-20" in Dark Brown, 2

I am writing this long review for my type 4 sisters out-here fed up & stuck in a cycle of edge damaging protective styles! I honestly think us women need to empower each other and remember that we are beautiful anyway we wear our hair! With that said, here is my honest, unpaid review!Purchases: # 1 (Jet Black) & # 2 (pictured, 1 month old, color came out as a #4 & #6 mixture) in 18-20”. I have purchased14-16” however they shed too much and I didnt like the length style! I have purchased this hair for two years now & I re-used twice to make it last longer & save $! The first time I bought this hair I took it to a professional braider for an emergency travel style! She swore she knew how to braid it, I walked away with what looked like uneven clumpy dreadlocks instead of twists! so I swore to never let anyone touch this hair again after what I spent on it! What you see in the picture I braided myself!Cons:- unless you are going for dreadlocks, DO NOT braid this hair straight from the bag! Its very dry & not easy to handle and you get frustrated by how much is wasted! My Solution for neat twists: Remove from bag & protective net gently, hold half way, gently rinse in lukewarm water (add a little conditioner to get rid of the smell and rikce 2-3 times) while still holding the middle of the bundle, let it air dry, it will clump together and become super easy to separate & twist! (Trust me!) it will still shed some but not nearly as much!- this hair will NOT hold water, its pretty and defined when wet but it dries fast! You can spray water or leave-in cond. all you want but not all products work with this hair! My Solution: SCurl hair refresher from your local beauty supply or any products with water & glycerin as the main ingredients will keep it soft and defined for days! Don't use heavy creams!Pros: if you know how to twist your own hair, this hair will save you money and time (see picture)! It is also re-usable if you know how to handle it!Its expensive, I only use 3 packs at a time, and it takes hours to twist but its a great investment, at least it has been for me! People think its my own hair twisted! I have tried many braiding hair extensions but I have come back to this over and over! As long as prime is selling, I will cont to buy and stock up!Wishlist:I wish they sold the longer lengths in brighter colors (copper, reddish blond, dark red) as prime, it seems like the lengths and colors available are always limited, and I have been checking regularly!Hope this helps someone somewhere in the world! Hair is soft and bouncy. Looks like my natural hair. I did a soft natural twist. Have in for about a month now and it still looks and feel great. I haven’t used any products on it yet, so I don’t know how it reacts to products.As some Other reviews mentioned, you do lose a lot of hair when you braid but from my experience, that’s just the nature of this type of hair.The key to braiding this hair is to take a small amount of hair and do a soft twist. The hair puffs up after a while. So, If you take to much hair you will have large twist. If you twist tight then the hair will be stiff. I do my hair myself. I use to use the bundle ounce hair until I tried hair from Yonna hair (sold here on amazon) and love it! I’ve been braiding with this type of hair for over ten years and I prefer it to the more expensive human hair sold by the ounce because it’s a 100% blend with my natural 4b/4c Hair. I used two bundles of hair.Hope this review helped.

Excellent and repaired my dreads with no problem using this hair. It’s a bit rough but it’s nothing that conditioner can’t fix. I just ordered two more bundles. If you’re concerned about color - remember it’s human hair and you can dye it to suit your needs.

Purchased a number 2 and although it said it was a 2, it looked like a 6...I’ve never purchased hair that was this off in color before.

This hair is so soft and comfortable, I will continue to recommend it to everyone.
