Brilliant top....brought as a gift for my son ...Nice warm material and comfortable..sizing spot on...washed well no shrinking or colour fade ...son loves it.

I bought this garment about a year ago for cycling as I heard Merino wool was good to avoid smelly odours for longer than synthetic materials. I generally stay away from wool as I can't be bothered to give them the care they generally need and not to mention itchy feeling when wearing. However this garment is none of these things. It is a mix of both synthetic and wool and seems to have hit the sweet spot insofar as I just throw it in with my weekly wash but dry it naturally. It's as close to easy care as you can get with wool and has neither shrunk, run, or gone out of shape, so good in fact I'll probably buy some more. Did I mention it's warm and great value too.

Very confusing advertising. The product photo has a description that it is 70% merino wool. However if you scroll down to the specifications, it does say it is 100% polyester fleece. I missed this but for the discounted price I paid I am happy with the top. It is a nice colour. I like my clothes baggy and this in my usual XXL is a tad baggier than normal but perfect for me. Length is fine also. The sleeves are quite long but I bought this for cycling so again, perfect for me. It provides good warmth and seems pretty breathable too. I imagine it will be quick drying as well. Material appears to be robust and well made. Overall very happy and will buy another. Just an update. I have noticed that some sizes do have a description for merino wool in the specs whilst others sizes have 100% polyester. So read the specs.

I’ve never really rated Mountain Warehouse for technical clothing, but after looking for a well priced Merino layer this one jumped out, and I’m glad I swallowed my bias because this layer works extremely well for my requirements. I run very hot when exerting myself, so being sweaty is inevitable for me, polyester is ok but takes a long time to dry on me, whereas Merino dries in minutes. It’s comfy, keeps me warm, and looks good too.

Seems a nice fit, have to wait till washed. Details clearly state 100% Merino wool then label on item says 80%. Also a bit short at back. If active could leave lower back exposed. Sad as had mountain warehouse gear before and God value and design. Buy a Damart as they do supply longer back

Keeping me warm when delivering pallets

Got this for skiing, just used it for a week in the french Alps. Good fit for me, Im 6ft 1in tall, washed well on low temp wash. Kept me warm and dry with good wicking. I did get a slightly thicker version from Mountain Warehouse last year that is nicer to wear but this top is good for a days skiing. I think its 80% Merino wool but great for what I wanted rather that the more expensive 100% Merino products you can buy.

Base layer en laine Mérinos bien adapté pour une 2eme couche de vêtement, malgré la finesse du tissus, il est doux si porté direct sur la peau, n'irrite pas, ni ne gratte. Idéal pour le voyage en vélo, rando et en bivouac également. Bon produit , confortable, bien taillé. Conforme aux attentes et description. Vaut pour son rapport qualité/prix.

Nada más recibirlo pensé que era muy fino, pero no es así, es perfecto. Es calentito sin llegar a ser excesivo el calor y pasar a ser incomodo. De tacto muy agradable y muy comodo. Estoy muy contento con la compra y me decidí a comprar tambien el pantalón y unos calcetines. Esta marca me gusta mucho, la veo practica y pienso que el precio es el correcto ya que pago la calidad y no la marca. Mi unica pega es que no tiene variedad de colores a elegir. COMPRA PERFECTA

Disappointed, was hoping for snug fit..but, product is way too small... Quality is ok...own many, many outdoor athletic tops...this is worst purchase in about 20 years of buying outdoor clothing...
