Ordered last minute for out of town trip to have something to feed cat. Pretty easy setup and straight-forward design. It has quite few options to set up feeding options throughout the day to the point of "how many times to people need to feed a cat/dog?" Ha ha. I only needed two options, morning/night, and it was easy to configure. Food dispenser worked fine - only caveat, the food portion settings need some trial/error. I discovered that I needed to add 2 additional "portions" to equal the cup size I needed. Once figured out, the dispenser worked perfectly.

I've tried several different automatic feeders, and I like this one the best. It's reasonably priced, stops little paws from accessing food when they're not supposed to, and doesn't require internet access or an app to use. The programming wasn't too difficult to figure out, either, and I managed it in less than half an hour (start to finish). There's so many settings to play around with and find the best schedule/amounts of food for your cat, which is incredible when you're managing four goblins with wildly different eating preferences and times. I plug it directly into the wall, so I can't judge battery efficiency, but I do like that the option is there. Additionally, the food tray was easy to remove and clean without coming off accidentally. Would absolutely purchase again in the future!

First off, easy to figure out. It includes a portion guide inside that even tells you how many portions for the amount of times you want to have it dispense food. Power flickered in and out during a storm the other day for a few seconds and the machine stayed programmed. Still though I'm gonna install batteries just in case for next time that way if the power goes out it can still feed my cats. Great purchase to force your cats to stop bored eating.

I like the locking feature for the food container so my cats can't open it on accident and eat all the food. Don't like that it is lighter and can be easily knocked over. There isn't an easy way to dispense food when you want an one off feeding, but it is pretty easy to set up schedule feedings.

The product arrived as described and works well. It has an option to plug into the wall or can run on battery. Pro's: It comes with a quick program card that helps you set up the number of meals per day, time, and portion size (amounts explained on the back of the quick set up card). Cons: it is loud when it drops food into the dish so consider feeder placement if your a light sleeper.

This feeder is great for the price! Have had it since November and it works great, you can set the portions to your desired amount. And add many different feeding times! The tray removes easily for cleaning as well. I will say the only con is it does not alert you when the food is low.

Really works well so far. I'm still reading instructions when I make a change. Hoping this will relieve my cat of food times and let up on the begging. Not noisy and it's quite funny watching her make a mad dash when she hears her meal fall. Good to know when I'm not around she won't miss her meal. Nice little night light, too.

Love nearly every aspect of these feeders. We bought 4 of them for our 4 cats and they have worked out very well for us so far. Our kitties have always been early risers (about 5:00 am) and before we bought these, they would come into our bedroom and pester us relentlessly to get up and feed them. After purchasing the feeders, we simply set the first feeding for 5:00 am and as a result, they are now perfectly content and allow us to sleep in for another hour! LOL It's also rather hilarious to see how conditioned they all are to the sound of the food dropping into the feeding dishes - they happily RUN to the feeders for each meal. We also recently took a short trip - and while we were fortunate enough to have someone come and stay with them while we were away, the automation gave our guests one less thing to have to worry about. Pros: - Pleasing and sturdy design, easy setup and straightforward meal scheduling process - Flexible feeding options (up to 6 feedings per day and up to 6 portions per feeding) - more than enough for our 4 cats - Control pad auto-locks after setting changes - Ample food storage with locking lid - Battery backup, so no worries about missed feedings during power outages - Long power cords - Feeding dishes easily detach from bases, making cleaning a breeze Cons - Dark smoked plastic storage hopper makes it difficult to see food levels inside - Control pad at the bottom of the base makes it difficult to see and set - would prefer it angled or on top of the base - Clocks do not keep the same time - very frustrating when attempting to synchronize feedings among multiple machines (need to constantly reset them) - No app Wish List: - My number one wish for these machines is an app that could be monitored from anywhere! I would love to be able to easily view the machine status, food level, and backup battery level - with push notifications for alerts. I would like to be able to set and edit the time and my feeding schedules directly via the app. As a bonus, allow a simple way to group multiple machines together in the app, so the time of day and feeding schedules would align across all machines. This feature alone would make these machines an unbeatable value and a 5-star product, in my opinion. - Make the storage hopper more transparent, so it's easier to see the food level (but an app that monitors the food level would be even better).

Fabulous time saver. Does exactly what is needed. Programmed numerous meals of varying sizes and it switched to battery backup when the power was out. Wish I had one sooner! Couldn't be more pleased.

Works very well cats love it. Easy to use and very durable - our cats have knocked it off the shelf a few times, lid only came off once and the machine still works perfectly. Highly recommend

This product has been working consistently for a few months. I am using it plugged in (with battery backup). It also worked consistently with the battery (no issues with short-changing the cats on food). I think it uses a proper mechanical dispensing system, not one that relies on a rubber band, so dispensing seems to be quick and consistent. In the digital age, it would be lovely if there was a low level warning. The only think I don't really like is the very loud beep with every push of the buttons to adjust clock, time, meal sizes, etc. Otherwise it is easy to use. The instructions that came with it were helpful. The best benefits: the cats don't wake me up early anymore (unless I let it run out of food). I am using one feeder for three cats. It holds food for more than one week but I now make a habit of filling it weekly. When I am on holidays, this gives my cat sitter more flexibility on when she comes to check on the cats. Side note on battery only: years ago I used an automatic cat feeder that ONLY had a battery option and found it ran perfectly for months at a time before needing to change batteries, so I expect the same for this one.

Super purchase for the price! My cat was very sus of it in the beginning and now he treats it like it’s his mother! Very efficient that it runs on battery as well as cord! I use the battery for it and it has been working great. It is very sturdy and safe. U can set up upto 5 meals and 3 servings per meal. Initially setup takes a bit of playing around but the instruction card is very helpful! Very happy with the purchase.

Item came defective and I'm not able to return it. I set the feeding times and no food is dispensed. I've unplugged it, still doesn't work. The manual button also wasn't working. After unplugging it multiple times, the manual button will keep dispensing food until I have to shut it off. I wouldn't have left a review at all, except I don't think I should have to keep a defective product.
