Ramen, Mushroom, 2 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I have not eaten ramen noodles for many years. I gave them up a long time ago because they are fattening and loaded with MSG, hydrogenated oils, etc. I was happy to find this healthier organic version. These noodles are excellent! The mushroom flavor is not overpowering, very light. I put this in a plastic bowl with a tight lit to steam them. I use boiling water from a tea kettle. Because the flavor packet is somewhat bland, I also add salt, pepper, garlic salt, seasoned salt (MSG free) mushrooms, peas/carrots and basil. I put the lid on tight and steam cook for about 20 minutes or longer. Delicious! I love these so much I already have ordered more. I highly recommend.

I thought I would enjoy this more... its ok. The flavor is very light so if that's what you are seeking this is perfect. There is no off-putting bad flavor just a very light mushroom taste... kinda watery for me. Its a pretty good mild base but I needed to add veggies, mushrooms and seasonings for my personal tastes. 5 stars still because it's good quality ingredients.

These Ramen are extremely bland. The seasoning packet has no flavor, and what flavor there is doesn't absorb into the noodle at all. I hate wasting food, and I bought 5 flavors of this brand based upon the reviews, and so I have been trying to eat these up so that there is no food waste. I have had to doctor them with Tamari, and even then then, the noodles don't absorb the Tamari. I have finally decided to throw away all that I have left which is about 4 boxes worth of this Ramen. Will never buy this again.

Excellent ramen, my only issue is the wimpy soup concentrate. It tastes great, but there is not enough sauce in a pack. I add my mushroom powder. The pasta part is why I ordered these again. Great noodles.

Made in China. I wouldn't have bought them If I knew that. Tasteless broth packet. I add seasonings.

Quality product.

I don't know how I got it in my head that Koyo was a better than average brand. It's just super-white white flour noodles, and the usual salty flavor packet. If you like ramen, as I do, this'll do the trick, but it's nothing special.

After you eat this ramen, you simply can’t go back to the main brand ones. I like ramen, sometimes even more than pasta, and been having it all my life. I thought the main brands were okay until I ran into this at Whole Foods. It’s tastier and feel healthier. Even the texture is better. And while I don’t usually use the powder pockets that come with it, with this brand I would as they’re tasty. With the pandemic you can’t find this in stores, so Amazon to the rescue! It is a little more expensive than the regular ones. I wish they’d made it a little more affordable, But in any case it’s worth buying this for the quality. Thanks to the brand on producing a version that is way better than all of us are used to. We ramen lovers rejoice!
