How large is the cooking area? I can see the unit is 11.4 inches across overall, but how large is the portion of the cooktop that heats?

The largest white circle is 20cm across and the glass plate on the top is 27cm square It works great and is more controllable than the previous halogen I had. Hope this helps

Can it use for 28cm pan?

I would think it would melt the plastic surround

Is this with uk plug ?

Yes it does . However, although I use the special induction pots it keeps cutting out and then I have to wait til it cools and restarts. I won’t buy another.
