Just as fast as my echo gas
Seems to be legit makita product. I paid under 4 for battery charger and tool. Very cool for the at price. Lockout engages way too fast. Only a few seconds. Only came with a dribble of oil. Very powerful, very fast. Much better than the kit version and the Milwaukee. Best battery chainsaw I’ve used.

My handyman says it's a really good chainsaw
I got this rechargeable battery chainsaw because FEMA helped buy it during an Armageddon level disaster from a hurricane. While none of us will use it, I got it in case we needed emergency help and if someone else knows how to use one but doesn't have one, I do.

Super nice saw and no jerking and pulling to start it!
Really like this saw and the best part is the electric battery operation. Other than using batteries this saw really is identical to a typical chain saw.It runs a suitable amount of time for an amateur woodsman who doesn't need to run the saw all day (as a professional might). If one was spending a tremendous amount of time cutting then a spare battery or two would be useful.

The battery and power is its best feature.
I like that is battery powered. I have owned gas powered chain saws before and they were more difficut to use in my opinion.It is just a powerful cutting as any gas saw. Adjustment are not to hard and the chain oiler works fine.The battery is heavy, but it seems to help the tool cut by letting the tool weigh help.The battery lasts a long time. Longer than I can stand to use it cutting stuff.I wish the government would make the companies standardize on batteies ligh the

I like is powerful, that only thing that I don’t like because when I ordered it doesn’t give me the option to get a second battery. and now I can’t find it in my buying history

Love it. Requires frequent maintenance, chain tightening.
It’s great. Just pay attention to it. Frequently clean the chain and re-tighten. Solid product. Absolutely will buy again.
