Q: the listing says 20 lbs, but the weight on the bag says 5 lbs.??

Wysong does not pack more than 5 pounds to a bag. When you buy 20 pounds you get a box of 4, 5 pound bags.

Q: why does this food contain chicken meal and fish meal? I thought those ingredients are harmful.

I look at the first ingredient in the food in this food it's Chicken, then chicken meal then I look at the other ingredients, most I know what they are. I look for any preservative chemicals like BHT and BHA they have been known to cause cancer, a better food will have vitamins C and E and rosemary to preserve the food. I also check for any recalls then availability to buy in your area then price. It's not that fish meal and chicken meal is harmful, It's just not the meat of the chicken or fish, it could be fins, feet or eyes a better food will list chicken by itself if it has the meat of the chicken in the food. I really want to commend you for looking at the ingredients most don't. I feed my dogs raw food that I make, but cats are much different. I have just seen some raw manufactured cat food that has been recalled, if you go to www.fda.gov you can see them all.
