Good strong knife
Purchased 3 for my despatch team we've used these extensively 9 hours a day 5 days a week and we have had no problems with them the blades stay sharp for a good time.the knife is light and fairly nimble which is important if your using them all day easy to change blades definitely recommended.

Wrong amount of blades
Good knife and good to hold. Pitty about description says 2 blades but only 1.

It's a knife!
It's a retractable knife. Is there much more to say? Build quality is good. Operation is easy and smooth. It's comfortable to grip for extended periods. The supplied 4 point Irwin blade is better than Stanley blades in terms of sharpness and longevity.

A must have tool.
It makes getting into amazon packaging easy!I have arthritis, and found getting into parcels very difficult, wish I bought one earlier. The blade flips in and out very easily, which is brilliant and safe to store away, great value for money.Very pleased and can highly recommend without hesitation.

Not as described
The knife is not a quick change blade system as it requires complete disassembly to change the blade. This requires a screwdriver. Upon receipt of the item I noted that 3 blue banded blades were not indicated on the packaging but instead a new (to me anyway) type of blade which enables the user to break off each end of the blade so that there are in effect four blades in one. This presents all kinds of issues for me but rather go into these all I will say is that I may as well buy one of the range of really good snap off bladed knives already on the market. I wanted the sturdier type of trimming knife. I can remedy this by loading alternative blades but annoyingly if I didn't already own a stack of these I would have to await a delivery. Next poor point is that once I had the knife apart ready to load the blade, the blade carriage (blade holder and retractor) simply fell out of the knife body. It doesn't look as if there was ever a retaining mechanism for this bit of the product, although I don't think any other reviewer mentioned this issue so I do wonder. Anyway, I did manage to get the thing back in and load a blade but it's impermanence made the process dangerous to say the least. Once the knife was assembled again it was quite a good shape and in use reasonable ergonomic and effective. However, I think on balance the design flaws mentioned make it one to be avoided.
