This cord was what I expected. It was a replacement for one I had misplaced and it did exactly what I needed it to do.

NOT A GENUINE CANON CABLE, BUT IT WORKS JUST FINE
I just wanted to let anyone who is thinking of purchasing this cable that is most definitely NOT a genuine Canon USB cable, but that it works just fine. I lost the original cable to my camcorder and bought this as a replacement, and it works just fine. I don't like the fact that they identify this as an OEM cable, but as long as it works and the price is right, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Not what its advertised to be!!!!!
I looked up the USB connection to the Canon Vixia G10 camcorder. I actually ordered two from Amazon having been warned that it may not be the correct connection. Sure enough, it was not! Neither of them. The connection for the Vixia G10 is unique for that machine... so someone needs to sharpen the pencil be more accurate. Frustrated

Arnaque. Le cable est une connectique Mini USB vers USB alors que le cames coupe Canon HF11 à une connectique "propriétaire" et du coup, le cable n est pas utilisable. C est le deuxième cable que je commande, vendu pour ce camescope et NON COMPATIBLE. Il serait utile qu Amazon remonte l info et cesse de vendre ces produits. Très déçu
