I picked this up to measure the exhaust temperature on my portable AC, and it’s been surprisingly accurate for such a low-cost tool. Readings change instantly when I move the laser from one surface to another, and it matched closely with my other thermometer. It handled the hot AC hose (around 90°F) just as well as cooler surfaces without lag. The LCD screen is bright and easy to read, even in low light thanks to the backlight. I like that it automatically holds the last reading when I release the trigger and shuts off on its own after a few seconds to save battery. It comes with AAA batteries in the box, so it’s ready to use right away. For the price, the value for money is excellent. It covers a huge range (-58℉ to 932℉), which means I can use it for way more than just my AC — like checking my grill, oven, or even insulation spots around the house. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and hasn’t given me any issues. I was surprised by the quality of this thermometer considering the price. It works perfectly for what I needed. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and gives accurate temperature readings. Definitely worth it!

works as expected. appears to have some level of accuracy (great for quick checks for my drafty house) alternatively, we've been using it as a cat toy. Cat hears the beep and comes running

Overall this works great I use this to measure temps in my pizza oven . I would purchase again . Feels a little cheap / plastic-y but seems to function well save some Money and purchase this .

I use this to temp my pans for roasting coffee! Beans are pretty sensitive to temperature but this guy has never let me down

I ordered this to check the bed of my 3D printer... Laser pinpoint on infrared... Sooo cool! Also, my left big toe is two degrees cooler than my crotc... Oh, sorry got carried away there, the laser targeting thingamabob is so distra... SQUIRREL!! Guess what else my left big toe is two degrees cooler than? Great price for a decent thermometer.

I'll first give my dig at this and that's the accuracy. It states that it is accurate to within +/-1.5C that equates to +/-2.7F. I found it to be fairly accurate. For me this isn't an issue as I only wanted a good reference and it doesn't need to be that accurate. So for this price point I'm not going to ding it for this. It's a good buy. All the other features are good, and it works as it should with a quick response on Temp readings. I will have numerous uses for this, and am happy I didn't have to spend a lot to get something that works good enough for what I need. Edit: I originally posted that the accuracy was fair but after more testing I was the one at fault. This thing actually has decent accuracy much to my surprise. I it seems to be very close to advertised accuracy. Great product for this price.

Everything is working fine so far. Temperature is accurate and displays is easy to read. Two small issues are the battery compartment doesn’t lock to well and it doesn’t have a place for a lanyard. Easy enough to fix with some tape and a string. I don’t feel those are worth a negative review due to the price point. Overall I’m very satisfied.
