This is a review for those familiar with Panettone type bread/cake. The box is actually very nice and would make a very nice gift - but make sure you don't give it to someone who might not appreciate it (happened to me) - so that said, I recommend slicing the bread and putting in zip bags individually in the freezer if you know you are not going to finish it in one day. Also, get a bag out at night so it is fresh in the morning for breakfast or take it with you to work for a snack. You can cheat a bit and add chestnut spread on top so you really get the taste =) As far as shipping goes, it did take a while to get it from Chicago which did not make any sense since we are only 8 hours away.. so that was a slight dent in the excitement =)

***** five stars hard to believe unless they are fake. This cake or bread it's far to be 5 stars just because most of the 5 stars are fake. I will only give one. Otherwise it may deserve 3 at the most. Note: I purchased two of them from Florida brick and mortar shop not online. One on them as a gift in 2015

This panettone became a must for our end of the year dinner. I used to buy it in a shop in South Florida. Unfortunately it was out of stock this year so I decided to order it from EuroGrocer. It was dry and the filling did not taste as good, guess it may have been not stored properly. I learnt that is better to avoid shopping this kind of stuff online.

If you like chestnuts and panettone then you've found the best ever. Loison as a maker of panettone is the royal crown of makers and this is the best I've ever had. The packaging just enhanced how special of a find and treat this is

This panettone was absolutely delicious. There were a lot of candied chestnuts in it. It was very moist. I wanted to order more as Christmas gifts but you were sold out. I will order earlier next year.
