Amazing!
This thing is INCREDIBLE. Just $16 and my controller pretty much never dies.My original controller battery had gotten to where it barely held a charge for an hour. I just played with it plugged in most of the time. I considered buying a new one, but they're so expensive and I figured the same thing would happen, so I looked into replacement batteries and found this one.I was kind of worried about installing it. I'm not super techy and I worried I'd break some tiny thing and the controller would never be the same. But I figured it was worth trying, for the price.Taking the controller apart was a bit scary at a few points. Especially around the shoulder buttons, there were a few times when I had to pry pretty forcefully and was really worried the plastic shell would break. (Also if I remember right, some controller models have slightly different construction around the shoulder buttons so the first tutorial I used didn't quite match mine about where the little release tabs were and stuff.) I definitely recommend reading other reviews and also checking a few tutorials and videos before starting. But it really wasn't too hard overall. The included pry tool and screwdriver worked perfectly (the screwdriver even had a nice magnetic tip and rotating end). I think I had to use tweezers at one point for connecting the tiny battery wires. The replacement battery is actually smaller than the factory one, but mine came with an adhesive pad to hold it in place I see where other people in reviews mentioned using tape, so it seems like at some point the company listened to customer feedback and started including the adhesive, which is awesome.Anyway, the installation was a little scary but not actually hard. Afterward, my controller didn't power on right away, which worried me, but it came on fine after being plugged in for a few minutes and worked fine. And now....holy cow! This thing lasts FOREVER. I can play literally all day and it's still going strong. I've never actually measured the total time, but I'm guessing at least 12 hours, maybe more. I don't know how long it takes to fully charge as I just plug it in at night, but some nights I forget and I can still play for hours the next day.I installed this in December and it's now late April so it's a little under 6 months but so far I cannot recommend this enough. I haven't noticed any reduction in the battery life so far and it's just SO nice to pretty much never see low battery warnings anymore or have to even think about battery life.To be so affordable and actually smaller than the original, sure seems like Sony could have done better than the crappy one they used!

10/10 ps5 Controller
I had to order a new battery since I messed up the wiring of the original one while I was trying to replace one of the potentiometers. It works just fine and the battery lasts pretty long too. Good deal for the price. Just know that the battery is a bit smaller from the original battery but it fits in fine. Super easy to install

Long lasting batteries
Love these bought 2 for both or my controllers and can game for hours non stop. Both controllers still can't outlive the battery life on my headset though but they last a very very long time

Beats buying a new controller!
I have 2 PS5 controllers that I purchased in 2020. I tested by playing Poker Stars., which is not alot of use of the controller. On a full charge, controller A would last only 25 minutes, Controller B, a little over an hour. So I replaced the battery in A as a test. I played Poker for over 4 hours, then played NHL for an hour. The battery still shows a full charge, and my charging cradle doesn't even try to charge it! So, I ordered a second battery and will replace B, then I'll update in a while. The replacement was easy for me after watching a video on YouTube, but this is basically what I did for a living for 40 years, (fix electronic equipment). Just be careful, take your time and be careful of the tiny square tabs near the bottom of the TouchPad, they can break easily. I bent but ALMOST broke one! Use the tape to secure the battery, it's smaller, and will rattle around if you don't. Good luck!*update 7/28 - after 2nd controller done, a couple of suggestions. 1- notice the angle that the screws back out at, will be easier to reinsert. 2- position blk wire on plug toward top of controller 3- follow a how-to video on YouTubeAMAZING results so far. Over 6 hours before I decided to charge.

A nightmare in a compact package
Let me start this review by saying that I had high hopes for the DualSense battery, but oh boy, was I in for a rollercoaster of disappointment. At first glance, the battery seemed promising. It came neatly packaged, and the build quality appeared solid. The installation was a breeze, just as expected. But that's where the good part ends. The battery life on this thing is abysmal. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it barely lasts longer than a bathroom break. If you're in the middle of an intense gaming session, be prepared to have your experience disrupted repeatedly by low battery warnings. It's infuriating!Even worse, charging it is like watching paint dry. I'm convinced that the DualSense battery charges slower than any other battery on the planet. It feels like an eternity before you can get back to gaming, and it's a major buzzkill. Now, let's talk about the issues. The battery started acting up after just a few weeks of use. Sometimes it would randomly die, leaving me in the middle of a game with no warning. Other times, it wouldn't even hold a charge properly, so I'd have to keep it plugged in. Isn't that the opposite of what a wireless controller should do?The final straw for me was when the battery overheated during an intense gaming session, making the controller uncomfortably hot to hold. I was genuinely concerned about potential safety hazards at that point. In conclusion, the DualSense battery has been nothing short of a nightmare for me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you value your gaming experience and your sanity, look for alternative options. This battery is a serious letdown, and I regret ever purchasing it.
