Works with a little modification
This is a pretty clever little adapter. It allows me to use v-lock batteries on my Sony L battery-powered field monitor and lights. It works pretty well except for the fact that none of my v-lock batteries lock in. I've tried five different types and none of them lock because the little tab that slides into the slot is too low. A fatal flaw since the battery can fall out. I exchanged it using Amazon's excellent return policy but the replacement has the same issue. I ended up taking it apart and using a Dremel to grind the tab. It works great now but I do worry that the tab may break. We'll see.
