Bought this only for the unique Spirits, since I have the full base game (plus other expansions) already. The Spirits are low complexity, but not low in fun. Unlike the low complexity Spirits that came with the base game, these are far more interesting, and unique. Even though I generally prefer Moderate and High complexity, these Spirits are definitely worth having.

I enjoy this game, and it’s cooperatives so it’s good for developing strategies and team work.

Good intro to spirit island, and if you already have the game, the 5 extra spirits and extra components are definitely worth the price.

I have never really played solo board games before, I would play against myself if boredom necessitated it but this game is amazing. I dont believe all spirits are ideal for solo play but if you are looking for something that you can play either on your own or with friends with plenty of different viable options with unique playstyles this is your fix.The artwork is a great point to note too! I am really glad that the power cards list the artists like MTG (magic the gathering) cards do. You can note different styles and I am hopeful to see similar great design choices as I dive further into this game's verse!

A nice strip down of Spirit Island to something a bit more . . . accessible? It's a good gateway into the world while not being shallow and lifeless
