What a wonderful design. Not only it’s affordable and well made. It cover the gap between the light switch really well. It’s looks modern and clean finished. It’s easy to install to replace the old cover. I don’t like the old style with the screw shown. This does the job and not flimsy.

These plates look good and install well as long as you have walls that are straight without defects, and your receptacles or light switches are installed exactly perpendicular to the drywall, and your electrical box in the wall isn't recessed too far. But if you have an old house where the existing condition isn't perfect then you will find these wall plates will highlight these kinds of defect in a very obvious way, where a shadow line is created around the edge of the light switch or receptacle (as you can see in the photo). To be fair this is probably the case with other screwless wall plates as well, but it isn't an issue with traditional plates that have a screw at the top and bottom since those plates will pull flush to the light switch AND flex enough to pull flush to the wall as well, so they conceal the defects better.

The outlet covers come in a bag, so if you rip it open and only need to use 1 or 2, now the rest are loose. On top of that, the 20 screws are all in one rip open bag, so you have to figure out how to store them after as well.

I would have given these 5 stars but for my learning curve installing new light switches. I bought three 5-packs of the 2-gang wall plates and three 2-packs of the 3-gang wall plates but they do not fit well with the Leviton Decora Edge light switches. I'm also adding Kasa smart switches and Woods exhaust fan timers and with all of them, the plate does not snap on very well to the wallmount. If you are using BESTTEN rocker switches these would be great but I wanted the Leviton for their ease of installation and not needing wire nuts or Wago connectors.

My initial installation proved to be a total disaster. The outer cover would not connect to the mounting plate. I was really disappointed and was ready to send these back when I happened to catch a review that mentioned that the mounting plate was inserted backward within the cover for packaging purposes and it needed to be turned around when installing it. I went back and reversed the mounting plate and it worked like a charm. Only problems I had were not related to the product - it was because of uneven surface of the wall it was going on. Even with that, I was able to make adjustments, untighten the actual switches to help make everything a little more flush and easier for the cover plate to snap on. These look great, professional, and really finish off the room. Only minor complaint is that the plastic has a slightly different shade of white compared to my existing rocker panel switches.
