The rub is that there are several tiny magnets and the inductive charger coil just below and glued to the back glass which are disrupted and destroyed when you remove the back glass. Found out later while having all this damage repaired at the Apple store that the back glass isn't ever removed when they repair the phones for this reason. Also, my flash/flashlight quit working along with my inductive charger. Also, tempered glass is supposed to break into tiny pieces to avoid injury, as soon as I put this glass on, it split in one big, sharp crack along it's full length. Thank goodness the Apple store was able to repair my phone to the tune of $350.
