This Monk Fruit product has been great after I took steps not use cane sugar and needed a healthy sweetener. I don't use a lot of it so the cost isn't prohibitive. We have used it in baking too and it tastes great, almost exactly the same as sugar.

I've been on a sugar-free journey for a while now, and I've tried a lot of different sweeteners. This Monk Fruit Sweetener definitely stands out as a solid contender, earning it a respectable 4 stars. The biggest plus? It's undeniably sweet enough! Finally, a sugar substitute that doesn't leave me feeling like I'm missing out on the full flavor. It really does measure cup-for-cup like sugar, which makes baking and cooking a breeze. I've used it in cookies, coffee, and even homemade ice cream. However, the taste isn't quite perfect. Like many reviewers have pointed out, there's a slight aftertaste that's a little… different. It's not overwhelmingly bitter like some other sweeteners, but it's definitely noticeable, especially when used in larger quantities. I've found that blending it with other ingredients, like vanilla extract or cinnamon, helps to mask this a bit. Overall, it is a good option for those looking to reduce their sugar intake. It's convenient, usable, and provides a good level of sweetness. With a little experimentation and adjustments to your recipes, you can minimize the slightly off-putting aftertaste and enjoy the benefits of a sugar-free alternative. I'll definitely continue using it, but I'm hoping they can tweak the formula to improve the overall flavor profile.

Love this product! A year and a half ago my husband was diagnosed as pre-diabetic. We changed our ways of eating by cutting carbs and processed sugar. We use Lakanto white and brown monk fruit sweetener instead of regular sugar. With just a few changed at his last checkup his blood work was perfect. We still use Lakanto and always will. Thank you for products that that are good for your health and taste great!

This Monk Fruit + Erythritol sugar substitute is easy to use as a replacement for sugar in coffee and hot tea- no issues with dissolving whatsoever. It has equal sweetness to sugar. As far as baking ability and a cooling effect: -it tastes a little minty when you taste it by itself but that flavor is completely gone when it’s mixed into my drinks. And I’ve tried several sugar substitutes that I couldn’t say the same for. So that’s good. -I haven’t baked this into anything, but I’m sure it would work great considering how it has behaved exactly like white sugar when I’ve made coffee; I don’t think it’s going to be noticeable in a baked good but I’ll try that soon and update this review. As far as health benefits go, it’s nice that this is very low calorie. Sorry this is TMI, but you really should know this before you buy it: This stuff is basically a more effective version of Miralax. Without a doubt, you will empty your bowels within about 15 minutes of consuming this. Not diarrhea though, it just makes you expel everything.

Has a good flavor. And I use it mostly in drinks and cold shakes and ice cream, and it works well for that.I do not know if it is ideal for cooking. I'm just starting my journey on keto, and I still desire something sweet. In my life.
