Really Good for the Money
I had previously installed one of these on my Mossberg 500 12g and was pleased with the results. It does take a little trial and error to hold the sight at the right angle and push just right, but it doesn't take long to be agle to pop it in place.Because the diameter of the .410 is so much less than the 12g, it's trickier to get the walls to spread. I actually pushed at the wrong angle and accidentally bent one side, but I got a pair of needle nose pliers and bent it back enough to find the sweet spot to get it on.Whateveer that plastic is, is a miracle. I haven't had a chance to fire the gun yet and see if it truly holds its place, but once it's properly mounted, it fits so tightly, it doesn't seem like it will be going anywhere from the gun's recoil.UPDATE: I've fired the shotgun about half a dozen times now and I dont' see a hint of movement. The fiber optic bead is bright red in the daylight and about the same size as the factory bead.I am thoroughly pleased. One note: This sight is harder to put on a .410 barrel than a 12g, so pay close attention putting it on. The plastic is quite firm, but it's also unforgiving. Get it right the first time,

Great addition to a bead sight weapon
I got this sight for an older, JC. Higgins, single shot .410 shotgun I've had for many years. It is a simple design with a bead sight. This sight is a great upgrade for the single bead and works great for most lighting conditions except very low light and darkness where it's the same as a bead sight. This is not a night sight, it is a fiber optic, but in daylight and room light this sight works really well. It's very bright. I would love to see TruGlo put this out with a TFO tube.It is easy to put on if you just read the instructions and follow it. Hold the sight over the barrel behind the front bead (meaning toward the breech end of the weapon. Place the end of the sight tube that is closer to the breech against the barrel and hold the sight at a 45 degree angle with the muzzle end of the sight barrel up. Then holding the breech end of the sight barrel against the weapon barrel push down and back on the front of the sight at a 45 degree angle until the back end of the sight barrel snaps over the weapon barrel; keep up pressure as you continue to press the front of the sight barrel back and down to get the rest of it around the weapon's barrel. Just make sure you don't press on the fiber optic tube itself. It will snap right into place. Lastly use a flat blade screwdriver to push the sight forward so the front notch is centered around and against the front bead, being careful not to scratch the weapon's barrel. You might have to rotate the sight barrel a little to straighten it out so the fiber optic tube lines up straight with the sight line of the weapon.

Very functional and easy to see.
Put this on a Sporting Arms snake charmer which came with no sights and it works good. Be advised it's tight and you'll have to work to get it started. At first you may think it's too small but keep at it. It was too small to simply slide on from the end so I angled it with some pressure on the muzzle to get it started opening up and then slid it on. If you have a bead simply turn it upside down so the opening on the bottom clears your bead. Once open it slides on the barrel with a little pressure. I found it easier this way than trying to force it down over the barrel as they suggest. I must say it is bright and quick to line up. Really a nice way to improve hard to see sights or no sights like mine.

Perfect for my application
I picked up a Yildiz TK-36 single shot .410 at Academy. At $130 I couldn't pass it up. Best wood I've ever seen on a gun in at this price level. Got it home after work and tried it out. After about 10 shots I discovered that the front bead sight had fallen off, so I went to the internet to find a replacement. This Truglo sight looked like the most feasible option. I measured the barrel diameter at about 12.5 mm. Other reviews suggest this sight is intended to work with a barrel diameter between 11 mm and 15 mm so I ordered it. Being very careful not to damage the light pipe I wasn't able to snap it on as instructed, but since I'd lost the bead I was able to just slide it on from the end of the barrel. I ordered the red version and it is a clear bright bead that is far superior to the original bead sight. I'm very pleased with this sight but I haven't tested how well it remains in place after shooting.

Fits tight, wont get lost !!
I lost a "bead sight" on one older .410 shotgun, to try and get a replacement was next to impossible, so, this True Glow works perfectly as a substitute, fit and placement is perfect !!Have a second old .410 that I also got the True Glow for, fit is extremely tight since the barrel is a little thicker, was a little tricky getting it on, but, it is working out great and it certainly wont fall off ! Now that both are ready to go, now we can get the grandchildren started on shooting too !!Definitely would recommend!!

Looks Great On Rossi 410 Youth
Ordered and received the green fiber optic sight and installed on a Rossi 410 Youth with 22" barrel and it made it so much easier to see than trying to find the factory sight bead. Locks onto the bead with it's "V" cutout for absolutely no movement once installed in position, for positive target/hunt shooting without any fear of going out of wack. Very satisfied.

Got this for my Cooey model 84 .410. Extremely easy to install and I love it out in the bush. A bit pricey... but worth it.
