Just like the previous edition of Epic Spell Wars this is a laugh-riot of a game. It encourages players to play the most humorous combinations whilst also trying to win in what amounts to the culmination of a very hilarious hour. The more players you have the faster the game plays and, if as we do, you implement a requirement that each player 'voices' their wizard. The gameplay is simplistic- play up to three cards to make a spell and use the effects against your opponents in an effort to kill them (temporarily) and be named 'last wizard standing' for two rounds. This version of the game has two new mechanics- blood and pets- sometimes your spells will leave a lingering 'pet' effect- something that can defend you from impending doom or to strike again and again with passing turns. Blood meanwhile is gained by killing your opponents and claiming the standee (Mount Tentakill) and then spent for enhanced effects of spells and to use treasure as well. All-in-all a fantastic, laugh-riot of a game!

This is a hilarious game of battling wizards. Don't be put off by the fact it is the second outing for Epic Spell Wars as this is a stand alone game that is very similar to the original (just a few minor differences). A fast paced, fun and frivolous 2-6 player game that is a hoot to play and has some fantastic graphics. Not a great amount of strategy here, but that's not the point, put on your best evil necromancer voice and get ready to do battle. Have played the first one Duel at Mt. Skullzfyre, and this one adds a slightly new way of playing well worth the money. Everyone I have played this with has loved it and wants to buy it. Gonna buy all in the set at some point

This is a fun game with an interesting twist on the original. I view the summons as a gimmick that perhaps requires too much explanation for new players and I don't really feel that the mechanic adds any fun over the base game to be honest. Best played with 3 to 4 players as it can start to get dull with more players.

This is such a fun game. It's complicated enough without causing a migraine. Simple once you've spent an hour playing it. The more players you have the funner the game is. There are prequels and sequels but I've not played them, though enjoying this game so much I may invest in another!

Really addictive game once all the rules are understood. You can play it with two people but the more the merrier!

Fun, easy to learn and really re-playable card based game. More fun the more expansions you have.

Great addition to my board game collection! Easy to play, amusing and can be played with or without the first epic spell wars game!
