Easy movement and love the sizes

Smallest scoop from 1st set broke immediately (using it for cookie dough) Slipped off the gears and was a bugger to reset. Decided not to risk it happening again, returned and reordered. 2nd set seems to be working... so far. I use the smallest sz for cookie dough. Lrg sz for portioning out muffins or frittatas or cornbread (Jonny cakes, made in a skillet) Overall - these are even handier than I anticipated! Hoping they will withstand the test of time/ use.

I have a very good variety now I can bake all kinds of cookies

The media could not be loaded. I'm an avid home baker, everyday I use my oven whether it's for breads muffins cookies pastries and such. Figured it would be handy to get a cookie scoop so it'll be easier for my kids to have uniformed sized cookies when they're in the kitchen with me and the idea of efficiency seemed over due. The first 3 scoops of red velvet cookie dough came out great, but the 4th and each one after became a hassle. The scoop mechanis started to do it's swooshing in the opposite way, it was stuck inside the scoop becoming a big mess the metal is quite sharp, the sizable gap between the scoop and the sliding blade became an obstacle to clean. The size of the scoops would have been perfect for various things, I gave a benefit of the doubt thing the dough might be too sticky and used 3 textures of dough to find out if it might work well with a thicker softer or firmer dough (peanut butter, chocolate amd red velvet) nope no success. I needed my husband's help he couldn't figure out why it kept inverting the direction of the scoop. It would have been a great bargain and addition to my kitchen artillery but I'll be returning it in hopes of finding one that functions with more then only batter. I attached a video to better show and compare an unused size how it's supposed to scrape out the scoop, and the problematic one with it not swiping the inside lining of the scooper. This problem began after 3 cookie scoops. Sorry about the rant but if you've read this far I hope you've picked out a runner up choice to select rather then this one.
