Modway Render 36" Bathroom Vanity Cabinet in Oak - Sink Basin Not Included

This is the second Modway vanity I've bought, and both have been very good quality items. This one in particular arrived extremely well-packaged; the instructions are clear and comprehensive; and the overall finish is superb. All pre-drilled holes are precisely where they're meant to be, and the (large number of) fittings are all present and of good quality. Assembly was a breeze, though it's quite an involved process and you should expect to spend an hour or two putting it together. Once assembled the vanity is surprisingly solid, and has four internal metal corner braces to help make the unit a perfectly rigid base for your sink top. TIPS: (1) Because there will be a slight gap between the back of the vanity and your wall, I suggest you place some packing material between the unit and the wall so that the back panel isn't bent outward by the screws fixing the vanity to the wall. (2) If your pipework ascends from the floor (as opposed to emerging from the wall) you will have to cut a hole in the base of the vanity, and also possibly modify the internal shelf. I also placed a matte black piece of wood across in front of the pipework where it emerges from the floor. This is because there's a gap between the base of the vanity and the floor (because it stands on short legs) so the pipework would have been visible to anyone languishing in the bathtub. (3) Be sure to install your faucets and sink drain onto the sink top before attaching it to the vanity; it makes installation way easier. When assembled and installed, the vanity has a terrific mid-century modern look that is hard to find in bathroom furniture - certainly at this price. For the sink I bought a minimalist Swiss Madison ceramic top, and the price for the vanity and the sink top came to less than Modway's price for a complete unit (i.e., vanity with sink)! ** One small caveat: although the product is described as a "cabinet in oak" the word 'oak' of course describes the colour finish, not the type of wood from which it is made. It's largely veneered particleboard.

This vanity was relatively easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and although assembly did take awhile I was able to do it all by myself! It looks fantastic and the materials feel sturdy and durable. Only issue I came across was upon installation - the adjustable shelf inside had to be notched out by my handyman in order for the p trap (plumbing) to fit. All in all SUPER happy with this purchase. Lots of much-needed storage inside. Great upgrade to my bathroom!

It was relatively easy to put it together. Grab your impact to speed things along! We get TONS of compliments on this piece, as we have it in our powder room. People assume it's from RH or somewhere else super expensive. I'm always proud to say we found it on amazon. We had a small leak when we first installed it, and the interior shelf was ruined because it was particle board. It became swollen and quite ugly. But we just cut that portion of the shelf out and it's looking brand new again! Overall I'd say pretty great value for this one!

We recently had a leak in our bathroom and had to redo everything. This vanity was perfect and really elevated our space!! Wish we would've made the change earlier. It was delivered in three days. Our contractor put it together with ease and it's really pretty.
