Helpful comfort
Very comfortable and helps so much. I have a very bony stump so it helps not rub against my gel liner.

Too large creating bunching and wrinkling
Not sure why these are so large, when I try using them under the liner to prevent friction between my distal tibia and the liner, the product bunches and wrinkles making them unusable! My liners are getting shredded from the inside out, to do to this, my prosthetist recommended I try Glide Wear; well, I am ultra disappointed and I tried two sizes, neither worked. Today I am going to try the small oval cut in half, if that doesn't work my prosthesis will need a socket modification. I am truly disenchanted with this product and I DO NOT RECOMMEND the overpriced pieces of FABRIC! Last time I ordered the large ovals, the company charged me 6 dollars return shipping, yet another disappointment. Guess what.the sms oval cut in half also failed! Do not order!!!

Helps with friction of a prosthetic leg
These are small silky material inserts to add to a prosthetic (artificial) leg to help when the bone is rubbing on the silicone gel liners inside. I only need these during the 100 degree New York City heat and humidity days. They help by adding a thin layer of material without interfering with the vacuum suction capabilities of my prosthetic leg.

Great for skin abrasions on residual limb
I’ve been wearing a prosthesis since I was 18 months old, and have used an ICE-ROSS (roll on silicone socket) for 30 years now. This type of socket works because your skin sticks to it so the prosthesis doesn’t fall off - it forms a good contact between the residual limb and the prosthesis. Since it is smooth (unlike a wool sock), it’s less likely that the skin will break down. But if you have scarring and thin skin, the socket can pull the skin and it will break down as it transfers the shear forces from the prosthesis to your skin. This simple product lets the socket slide over the skin where it’s applied. It is not padded, so it doesn’t interfere with the prosthetic fit. It is good for patches - if you wore a sock made of this material, the prosthesis would fall off. It’s possible to wear a thin blister bandage under it, if needed. It dries quickly so you can hand wash it and have a clean one everyday.

Not worth the money
I looked at the advertisement wrong. I thought I was getting something to slip over my prosthetic leg to insert a pad to protect my knee. I got two pieces of material that are not padded for $37.00! I would not advise anyone to buy. I have cancelled the order but realize I do not have a store to return them to so need to cancel the return and just "eat" the cost.

To anyone who has a prosthetic...buy these!
What a difference this made for my friends who both had to have BTK amputations and, thus, are using a prosthetic for mobility. Their prosthetics rub a sore at the very same place on each of them. However, using these patches resolved the issue. I don't know what it's made of, exactly, but it allows the residual limb to slide past the spot that was causing them trouble. It is a true blessing that I stumbled across these "miracle patches" while looking for things that would help the daily lives of amputees. I give 5 stars with confidence because seeing is believing! Both have healed limbs because of these patches!

Does a pretty good job.
This product was recommended by a friend. It works fine but the price is steep. I found a much less costly alternative and it is cuddle fabric by the yard. The fabric has the same stretchy knit fabric on the back and soft fuzzy fabric on the top. Easy enough to cut to the size you need and best of all it doesn't ravel so you only need to cut it. Works and washes just as easily, A good quilt shop is where you can usually find this fabric.

Precio muy caro para los beneficios.
La compre porque pensé que me podía servir como almohadilla. Pero es una tela que se arruga cuando trato de ponerla en mi muñón. No me funcionó.
