We bought this to go along with our Solar Battery Power Pack to make Tea & Coffee on our days out and about. And this has turned out to be the perfect addition. It boils water quickly, a full kettle in about 4 minutes, drawing slightly less than the 600W advertised. It will boil sufficient for two regular mugs. In use it is entirely practical. The folding design means that it fits in a small carry space compared to any other type. You are not packing empty space! Although a bit awkward to fold at first it soon becomes a bit of a knack. Make sure that when you get this kettle that you boil at least 4 amounts of fresh water to remove any internal residues on the silicon body. After the 2nd boil you may notice a white powdery residue, that is fine, just wipe it off before the 3rd boil. We're delighted with this compact kettle and cannot wait to use it out in the field.

Arrived quickly & package in tact. Boils quite quickly, it’s portable & light, takes a bit of practice to fold down. Be careful when tipping contents as flex is quite short, found that unplugging cable from the wall or power station first helps as you could easily be scalded.

Really good product. Holds 600ml water which is good enough for a couple cups if tea. Packs down to a good size also. Good for when travelling. 10/10.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I’ve now used this on four weekends away but the inside of the kettle is disintegrating and leaves a layer of plasticky film when it’s boiled. The return window closed on 21 July but I’ll contact them anyway, in the hope they’ll do the right thing! Just do not bother with this kettle, it’s a waste of money!

I bought this for a trip where I wouldn’t have a kettle in my hotel room. It boils quite slowly, but that was expected. The water capacity is good. The first pour was perfect, but a slightly later top-up pour or a reboil of the remaining water gives a very scummy cup. I think it’s the coating of the silicone. All you need to do is swirl fresh water around the inside and it’s okay. I got used to it, but I like a lot of tea, and quickly so it was a bit of a faff.

After the second boil, you might notice a white powdery residue, but a quick wipe before the third boil resolves that. Overall, we're thrilled with this compact kettle. It's proven itself to be a reliable companion for our outdoor adventures. My only gripe would be the potential for steam scalding during pouring. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic addition to our gear, and we can't wait to take it out into the field again. The one minus I think is that it does not have the automatic shutter to turn kettle off like the kitchen one.

I had purchased this to go on a trip where the hotel did not have coffee pots in the rooms. As I need my coffee first thing when I get up, I was happy to have this on hand. It’s compact, fits perfectly in any size suitcase and the water comes to a boil rather quickly. I worked for me!

I bought it because I wanted a small lightweight Kettle. However, after it boils it is impossible to boil the water again until it cools down. This is inconvenient as I don’t stay in the kitchen to watch it boil…also it doesn’t make a noise indicating it’s boiled, and the light remains on. Not sure if it’s not working properly I now need to change my review. Unfortunately it’s past the return date so I’m not able to return it. Although I didn’t notice this when we first received the kettle, the smell of the tea we make is really bad and the taste is even worse. I believe that the kettle is actually breaking down and the material is permeating the water. Although it’s past the return date I think Amazon should allow me to return a defective product that possibly can affect one’s health.
