Magnetic Tiles Pastel Lemon & Peach Base Plate Pack, 2 Pieces

I frickin' love these plates. the colors look just like the photos. we keep one of these in the house and one in our car with like 8 tiles. my son is almost 2yo and gets frustrated with the tiles since he's still developing his motor skills. the plates have helped so much by providing stability. putting one in our car with a few tiles has been a gamechanger for going out to eat. we take a toycar too and help him set up a "garage" or "tunnel" and he's busy until food comes, sometimes the whole meal! and it's easy to lay magnet tiles on the plate for easy carrying. i love these so much.

This is our first Connetix product so I didn’t know the quality, but anticipated it being nice based on the price (currently $55 for the two base plates). Compared to other brands of which we own several sets, the plastic on these base plates is very thick and quite durable feeling. They are also very clear and the colors are bright and cheerful. The magnets are strong and appear very securely sealed inside, which is important as I have a 20-month old toddler and loose magnets would pose a serious hazard. They are compatible with the tiles we own and my son took right to them, building pyramid structures. These plates will allow him to create more complicated builds that will be sturdier on a wide base, as well as allow him to build multiple groupings, like a city. The price point is high which could make it cost prohibitive, but these are definitely a great splurge for your magnet tile loving kiddo.

We have several sets of magnetic blocks, my 9-year-old loves them and has been adding to his collection for years. These bases are compatible with all of the brands we currently have. They stabilize the bottom of whatever you decide to build and allow for things to be taller with less wobble. Honestly, these should come in all the sets as a foundation! Great addition to your collection, if not a must have! I also really enjoyed the light yellow and peach colors; they are pretty neutral, and work with all the different variations we have.

These CONNETIX base plates have been a game changer with my 2 year old. She loves magnetic tiles but mainly just stacked them on top of each other as she doesn't understand the concept yet of putting down a base and having supporting pieces. These base plates allow her to stand up tiles and create larger structures with little effort. They also free up tiles, which would have previously been used for the base, so you can get even bigger builds. These base plates are sturdy, solid and contain lots of strong magnets. We have several different brands of magnetic tiles in our collection and these base plates worked with all of them. These things are awesome and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a magnetic tile collection!

In the pic it is the orange base. They are large and strong, roughly 16 of the small squares. So it saves for more building. However 55$ seems pretty $$$ for 2 items.

I got these for my daughter who loves building with magnetic tiles. She has a huge set of them and we like to add once in a while. I was afraid the price point for these as they're quite more expensive than any of the ones we've gotten but these tiles were quite impressive. They're actually so much stronger than anything we've ever had and just hold up extremely well. She was able to build some cooler things because of how sturdy it makes her creations. If we're able to invest in more of these later on, I will definitely love to add on some more. Definitely recommend these!

These bases make it so much easier to build with magnetic tiles. It’s so nice to know the tiles are going to stay right where you want them. I really think all tile sets should come with a base. I’m pretty sure my grandkids and I won’t be able to play without a base anymore…it’s spoiled us. The only reason I took a star away is because I feel the price is high. They’re wonderful products, obviously made well, just out of many people’s price point.

Connetix are incredible! We’ve had them for years. Love these base plates. Strong, look amazing and such a great addition to our collection
