Very Impressive Soundbar!!
This soundbar (Polk Signa Solo) is definitely a surprise to my expectations! I recently returned one from a different brand due to me being underwhelmed and defective so decided to go with this one. This one is perfect for a bedroom or small to medium living room. This is perfect for older TV units because this isn't equipped with a HDMI/ARC connection. It has an Optical and Line In for audio. The Bluetooth connects flawlessly! The only downside side is that the remote control is a cheap and flimsy design. Very small and could easily be misplaced. I think the remote under compliments the quality of the soundbar. Fortunately the learning code that Polk has will highly likely connect to any premium TV remote control that offers universal connection. You may only be able to control the volume and not the other functions, at least in my case. Overall it is definitely a good soundbar with a good sound!

Great product with a terrible remote!
Going to start this by saying I was close to giving it five stars. The sound quality, volume, ease of use, connectivity, and many other features all exceed the Bose soundbar I spent $300 on two years ago. For the value, this really is amazing and worth every penny. It is huge, the sound is crystal clear and can go quite loud, and it works with bot my TV and my phone via Bluetooth. The one downside is the remote: thin, cheap, and in my case, defective. The volume buttons would not work at all. Amazon has replacement remotes that are a bit more robust however, so I ordered a $10 replacement and it has been smooth sailing. If not for the remote, 5 stars all day, every day.

Great! But... another remote. And this one is tiny.
If I was some sort of acoustical engineer I might not be terribly impressed. But this thing is so much better than the tv speakers that Im quite happy. Two things: The remote is tiny and I have kids so it will be lost soon and Im not sure what I will do when it happens. It allows you to program slight functionality on ONE universal remote so you can control just volume in and out but only one so, if you have more than one remote (roku, cable) you may only program one of those. But the other remote functions won't work without the tiny remote destined to be lost.Second; the bar turns itself off after a few minutes if you don't set it up properly. Do whatever your TV tells you to do( turn off the tv speakers etc.) then press the button marked with a square on the bar itself. That will fix the problem. The instructions that came with the bar are crap, and there is no info on the web so hopefully you will read this before you toss it out in the yard.

Good sound sucky design *updated*
I wanted to come back and update this (9-27-22) because I hate this stupid thing so friggin much but I think I already covered all of its flaws. They did replace the nonworking remote control with another nonworking remote control, different design. They don’t seem capable of doing the simplest thing. It’s fine that they know how to make speakers, but until their engineers learn how to create digital electronics, this thing is worthless. Oh and there is no way to manually raise the bass using the buttons on the sound bar but the new remote control bass button doesn’t work, so of course you can’t raise the bass at all. It might as well not have any bass settings whatsoever. Total piece of crap.Original review: Nice sound but when it sits idle for awhile it totally resets. Shuts down and lowers the volume. And for some reason the on-off button on the remote doesn’t work. And even if it did, I don’t carry the remote in my pocket, obviously, so if I wanted to connect from somewhere else in the room I would have to wander around and find the remote or walk over to the speakers. What is the point of Bluetooth If you have to go to so much trouble to turn the stupid thing on and fiddle with the volume each time? All of my other Bluetooth devices turn off when idle - and then they TURN ON AGAIN exactly where they were before in response to reconnecting to the Bluetooth. This is the only device I have that does this crap. It makes a mockery of the purpose of Bluetooth and I’m really pissed off I paid for this thing.-/////Update: July 18, 2022. I’ve decided to reduce this to one star. This was a big waste of money. Sure the sound is fine but the digital programming is terrible. They replaced my controller but the new one works like crap and you have to click it 15 times to get it to respond no matter how many times you replace the batteries. And I’m only sitting about 5 feet away - I live in a very small space. And whoever designed the software running this thing is an idiot. It’s extraordinarily inconvenient to use and just having good speakers is not good enough in this digital age. The Bluetooth alone takes at least five minutes to connect to your device. It’s absurd. Do not buy.

Remote issues after a few days
When it worked it sounded great. My parents fire TV needed better sound. You cannot use the fire TV remote to control the soundbar. If you leave the TV speakers on you can however the audio isn't synced so it sounds horrible. When you turn the fire TV speakers off the remote buttons for volume don't work. There's a message on the screen telling you the speakers are off. So while you can still turn the TV and soundbar on and off and mute the sound with the fire TV remote, you cannot adjust the volume. So my parents were ok with using both remotes until after a couple of days the soundbar remote wouldn't turn the volume down. Waiting for a replacement which is taking longer than expected due to Amazon's shipping issues. Not sure what they are exactly just know I've been having issues with Amazon saying something will be here today and it actually hasn't shipped yet. Called Polk audio and talked to tech support for troubleshooting and they determined the remote was the issue but now the buttons on the soundbar don't all work.

Fantastic Product
i was looking for a quality sound bar for my home, my requirements were crystal clear sound clarity with more preference to the dialogues of the movie or series, i was looking for the bose sound bar and came to know about polk sound bar, after bit of research i gave a go with the polk sound bar, needless to say buying the polk signa solo is the best decision, i am bowled over by the amazing sound quality, connects with bluetooth, aux, optical cable, build quality is worth for this pricing, coming to the speaker quality, the voice are clear and so for the background music, there is even a night mode which signifies the dialogue and eliminates the background score for a minimal. overall i recommend the product; a must buy if you are looking for a premium sound bar with a crystal clear sound output.

Great sound quality
I got this soundbar during sale for Rs 9000/- and I've been using it for around a month. I'm pairing this with TCL LED TV and it is a significant upgrade from the in-built TV speakers.I was particular with soundbar without sub-woofer mainly due to space constraints and to avoid extra wirings and fittings. There are few options for a standalone soundbars with a varying price range but I finally decided on Polk signa solo mainly based on brand reputation, and my prior experience with Polk car speakers.Coming to the soundbar, I'm quite happy with this product. Here are few Pros and Cons.Pros:1. Sound quality is quite impressive when using optical connectivity. It produces crisp vocals, with enough bass and mid-range. It simulates theatrical sound experience.2. It has a Bass and vocals controller, and the bass controller in particular is quite effective.3. Built quality is quite solid. The plastics doesn't feel cheap.4. It doesn't override the inbuilt TV audio, meaning the sound from both the TV and soundbar will be audible at the same time,. But this means you need to control the volume for both TV and soundbar.Cons:1. It doesn't have HDMI (ARC) connectivity. Even entry level soundbars come with HDMI (ARC) these days. But the main advantage of HDMI (ARC) is when setting up multiple channels for surround sound, and this soundbar being a standalone I feel it doesn't really matter.2. The remote controller is quite small and flimsy. It could easily be misplaced or lost. And most of the key controls like bass, vocals, presets equalizers can be controlled only through remote.3. The volume when connected via 3.5mm AUX cable is quite low, nowhere near optical.4. There is a latency issue (or delay) when connected through bluetooth. I would not recommend using bluetooth connectivity when watching movies or videos. It will work fine for music though.5. The price is a little high compared to other models with similar specs and functions, even after discount. If you look at the pros and cons, there are more points for cons, but there is a workaround for most of them or they really are not deal breakers. My main concern though is the flimsy remote controller. But overall I'm quite happy with this product and I would recommend it.
