A must read. Arrived on time in good order and well packaged.Pleas yo must read this book it give histology and insight into so much of history as we do not know or understand it and is written in clear concise descriptive english which draws the reader in. Makes very interesting and varied reading whilst educating and expanding the thoughts of the reader. And absolute must read! Would use sellers again and would definitely recommend to colleagues, family, and friends.

I believe this to be a wonderful commentary on the life, times, and meaning of the life of Jesus Christ, and how essential he was to the salvation of humanity. I do like it a lot. It does also feed in additional detail on events that took place, and in my reading it only adds to the importance of the life, and purpose of his existence. He came to restore us to a proper, personal relationship to the God family, which had been wrecked by the falling into sin that happened to Adam and Eve in Eden after God had created everything in the beginning. All good knowledge that tells us of a truly loving God who has promised to return and create a new Heaven and a new Earth in a not too distant future.A good and encouraging read.

I love the book but not the format!!!It is far too big and the pages - paper and the ink not good quality and the fontsize is like you typed it with an old fashioned type writer...!

Best book about the life of Jesus Christ ever written. Ellen G. White was a true prophet and more than a prophet. She was a messenger of God.

Words cannot describe how define this work,I am convinced that such an account of the Life & Ministry of Jesus Christ could have impacted so many people from all waoks of life !! One of the most beautiful books ever written. Brings you up, close and personal with Christ. If there's ever been a biography written about the eternal Savior, this is the one! A must read for believers and non-believers alike.

If you want further inspired insight into the life and death of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour then do yourself a favour and get this book. It will be life changing - read it together with the Bible versus and in beholding you will be change from glory to glory (2 Cor 3:18).

Upon inspection this copy has several chapters omitted. You would think that for such a large copy they could have fit the entire book that Sister White wrote into it but sadly it is a watered down version.

This book is one of the most amazing most beautiful books I have ever read! I simply cannot give it justice by the words contained within this review or share the impact it has made on my life. God is so good! Get it read it and pray for the wisdom to absorb it into your heart, mind and soul!!

Other than the Bible, this is my most favorite book. It's an in-depth, comprehensive story about Jesus' life and explains why there was sin, why Jesus had to come, and what He is doing now in Heaven. Beautifully written, captivating, and very spiritual. I can't say enough about how the writer explains the story of love, grace and mercy to people.

This rating is not given on book content but on format. Desks of Ages is a wonderful book for any home to have that wants to learn more about how and where Jesus lived. Any who want to become drawn into his life. This book remains true to Biblical writings. However it is impossible (almost) to look up events, people or places since an index is not included as it is in my hardback copy. Very did about that. But if you just want to read straight through no problem.

There has been a deep stirring in my soul for many years. I learned to dislike this author when young because every time we kids wanted to do something, "Ms. White says that is a sin" was the general excuse to say no. Now, as an adult trying to understand some spiritual issues, I started reading this. What a switch! There is good enlightenment on the life of Jesus and it makes Him, for me, far more "human", and therefor, more believable. To learn that we do not experience emotions that He also experienced as a man made a whole world of difference. I have not completed the book but what I have read so far has done a great deal to help me understand my faith, my belief, and my acceptance of Jesus Christ.

You will not find a better book than this. Well, the Bible would be a ton better, but this one is very good too. I recommend this to any and everyone. REad through this book and your heart and mind will be changed. The way it takes you through the Life, Death and Resurrection of Christ is amazing!!! Totally life changing!
