Should not be sold as suitable for connecting tap to water filter as pipe from standard filter is different size than this connector

split after 14 months use

I bought this in may 2018 just notice it has split , shouldnt it have lasted longer than that. It has ruined the top shelf of my unit and now both need replacing. very unhappy
