Great bit of kit to help prevent dry-firing damaging the firing pin/breach of your precious 12 bore. They seem to be quite robust despite being plastic, and have a good weight to them. I'd recommend the Seller JS Ramsbottom too. I've bought from them before and have always received extemporary service.

Good idea in principal but im still not convinced snap caps are needed. I mean, do you jack your car off the ground everytime you get home to preserve your coil springs? Also, the thought of inserting *anything* cartridge shaped into a gun's chambers fills me with dread. A moment of insanity=accident. Anyhow, i bought them even though i've owned shotguns,rifles and pistols for decades with no dramatics and i hope it continues.

Don’t use in semi- autos they got stuck in the barrel with the action closed. The plastic rims stopped the action on my A400 from rotating out of breach. Worked well in my over and unders with no issues.
